The abyssals buff/NERF was the other way around: on friendlies, they get hit for less, on enemy that suffer 1 more from friendly shooting

U said if Harrowing Whispers works the enemy has to pass? The wording does not say he cant activate the operative during this turningpoint. I am confused

"Harrowing Whispers: Whenever your opponent would activate an enemy operative within 6" of this operative, you can roll one D6: if the result is higher than that enemy operative’s APL stat, they cannot activate it during this activation. If there are no other enemy operatives eligible to be activated, this rule has no effect." We mention that the operative has to pass, but we are relying on watchers to have some context on reading the rules. The Nightfiend effectively forces a different activation, it doesn't remove the operatives turn entirely. However it does mean that in a turning point you cannot rely on activating someone at the right time. More or less what we're talking about. Rather than the strictest repeating of the rules everyone has equal access to :)
