Okay, so....his whole "friend who laughs too much" joke fell flat for a number of reasons. First, the delivery is forced and awkward. But futhermore, the entire premise of the joke is weak. Is the "joke" that the friend laughs too much during a story, or is the "joke" that a friend thought a random death was funny? It's trying to be too many things at once. Not to mention that it isn't remotely believable or relatable once he gets to the "a guy died" part. I mean, sure, we all have a friend who can't tell a story with a straight face, but come on! "You had to be there" about...?? A death? No, just stop.
