It is an environmentally economical thing to do, but we don't eat Koala. And there is a law in some parts of the country to kill kangaroos on site. But, the supermarkets have heavily got into kangaroo as a packaged meat. Which, as i said makes more sense than getting cows, sheep and what not to graze land, spend money on feeding them, they tread and effect the land, the water they also need. It is alot, in comparison to just having kangaroos jumping around in the own survival. But, Big money wins in every industry. Kills everything, but makes money so it will not change. But yeah, we dont eat Koalas, they would not be edible, due to they eat poison (eucalyptus ), come to think of it, we also do not eat platypus, or poisonous snakes. I have eaten a snake though. It may have been a tree snake. Anyway. Kangaroo is actually one of my favourite meats. Lightly seared, sliced thinly, a splash in balsamic.
