I have that baton. In real street fight, one hit from that baton is enough to stop anyone. With full strength, someone might die. So that guy still able to fight after getting few hit is definitely unrealistic. And no you cannot block it with bare hand. Ur bones will crack

Nope, it's real. Very similar thing he did with Colin Chou for Flashpoint, because he said it came very naturally for them, so it didn't require lots of days of shooting like some of the other fight scenes (there was also supposed to be a huge gang brawl at the golf club, but they didn't have the budget for it. It really shows the difference between actors and martial artists, when the latter can improvise very elaborate and cool looking fights in such a short amount of time).

Lessons to learn from such scenes. 1. Absolutely idiotic facial expressions are an integral part of of fighting effectively. 2. After you lose your weapon, go ahead and do what you should have done at the beginning to win the fight. 3. Full force blows to the head have no physical effect.

I don't know if anyone's ever hit you in the back of the head with steel baton, but it's lights out when it happens I don't know if anyone's ever hit you in the arm with a steel baton but your ability to move that arm quickly goes right out the window
