I’m only 25 but worked my way up as a temp worker within 6 years. You put in the hard work and work overtime, it will pay off. Trust me, managers know the difference between their hard workers and their bare minimum workers also. I know my employees very well and am a very laid back boss but also let my employees know when they are slacking and what they need to improve on. I walk 30-40k steps a day and am always busy. Yeah, y’all talking that silly shit on here, but the reality is that most managers and supervisors are incompetent adults with various emotional complexes on a power trip. A lot of y’all are clinically psychopathic and Machiavellian. Literally, only 10% of people possess the inherent skills to manage/supervise. That’s an empirical fact. Basically, 90% of y’all that get management positions have no fuckin business with the job. Your job is to foster an environment of positive feedback, motivation, morale, openness, and shared agreement on purpose in the workplace. You’re not running a slave base. Get tf over yourselves.
@AQS5213 жыл бұрын
@@Chris_T_3rd_Ward_504 that’s funny because you’re generalizing a whole lot there, bud. The fact you assume every supervisor is like that makes me think you’re just projecting because that’s how you would act if you had that position
@Chris_T_3rd_Ward_5043 жыл бұрын
@@AQS521 Not _every_ manager; I did acknowledge that one in every 10 person has the innate skills needed to effectively manage, didn't I? I translate (text) and have done freelance interpreting (spoken) Japanese to English, and sometimes vice versa. I've been a lead translator on projects, and I treated the grown adults I worked with like human beings, and helped to uplift them and form group cohesion. As an introvert, however, I much rather work alone. But, yeah, most managers and supervisors suck at their jobs, by nature. That's why only 36% of workers are engaged in their jobs, and good management accounts for 70% of the variance in worker engagement. Poor management costs the U.S. economy $1.3 trillion a year. Smdh. Robotic A.I. would do a better job than most humans.
