They had copied our routine. Someone had leaked our shi cuz they copied it to the T. The only reason they got credit was because they went first. There's no way the did Pepsi into Billie Jean, started the show the way we did and did the exact dance... Doesn't add up.

Aside from that, everyone who performed didn’t look like they improvised anything. Everyone looked like they rehearsed everything they did. So you said your show was “leaked” and the only reason they got credit is cause they went first. So because TSU went first, y’all had to resort to an ordinary Saturday show? NOTHING creative at all? What the hell are you talking about? How are you going to tell me my experience??? Langston University, the college I go to that went to this battle, had to restart the drill many times because people weren't showing up for practice, so I know our shit was copied. This isn't the first time our drill has been stolen. So please get tf off my shit with that. I was simply enlightening the person that commented that was encouraging their drill that they stole it from us. TSU had copied a lot of our drills according to my professor. 😂😂

Right when I thought Motion couldn't improve this routine more, they did! Danielle, my hat is off to you because this upgraded routine from the HONDA Battle of the Bands in February of this year is crazy good! From the THICK dancer transitioning to her spots effortlessly to the STATUESQUE dancer strutting like a Tennessee Walker horse, they conquered that field! This is coming from a Stingettes fan.

I agree with the Sports Illustrated rankings. The TOP TWO bands for BOTB 23' were TXSU's Ocean of Soul and S.U.'s HumanJukeBox. The Bands and Auxiliaries put on a full show with real crowd engagement. Good JOB!!!

Hats off to all participating HBCU marching bands. Uniqueness and Originality Field Show and Sound Quality goes to THEE NORFOLK STATE UNIVERSITY MARCHING SPARTAN LEGION BAND. The Ocean ,Human Jukebox, AOB, The Legion ,Green Machine and Lincoln University all have big sound.

its their greatest strength and weakness. its great entertainment + skill. [ for the fans] BUT no one knows what is Txsu style anymore? = 'its chop suey'. PVAMU had the same growing pains it works on smaller school dance squads. but not elite. MEAC schools can pull it off

Highlight: The arrangement and execution of the Alicia Keys tune! Phenomenal attention to detail and full of color. Question: Why are the dancers wearing navy blue? They looked similar to a J-Sette brand. Maybe they’ve done this before but I’ve never seen it.
