I couldn't help but cry from the moment when he was being tied up till the end of the video. It's so painful and heartbreaking, first of all to his family and then for a man so young who wanted nothing but progress for his country. Africa has suffered so much. The heart of man is so desperately wicked...

My goodness! I am not African and recently have learning history of Black people around the world. And this one makes me cry and just can't stop the tears flowing down my face. What a horrific way to die? And that retired police officer could live with that for his whole career life? 😳 Even at old age, he was still smirking about it. Only demons can live like that. What a way to treat a human being who wanted the best for his own people?!

Sad and annoying that even today most of Africa lacks peace because of turmoil sponsored from outside. Good African leaders are ousted violently and in most cases violently killed or arrested only to be remembered decades later that they were leaders with the heart of the people.

The murder of Patrick Lumumba by the Government of Belgium leaves deep wounds in all of us in Africa, particularly Congo. Belgium in her colonial rule, caused unimaginable suffering to the Congolese. It beats my understanding why Congo still has diplomatic relation with Belgium and hosts Belgians. Beside, the CIA was deeply involved. And of the late, US citizens involved in failed coup attempt in the DRC.

I believe he had admirers, friends and loyalists but they did nothing while he was dehumanised, tortured and assassinated, then his body which was buried in a shallow grave was next morning exhumed and dissolved in Sulphuric acid! Then the Belgian Police man who confessed. 38 years later confessed to have supervised it all and even produced Lumumba's teeth kept by him as souvenirs. The Police man was allowed to die peacefully?! Then 38 years later a tooth is put in a casket etc all t what end! So annoying a story!

Extremely shocking that such inhuman treatment could be meted on a man whose only crime was standing for the Independence and rights of his people. It leaves me with only one question; Are the perpetrators of such a heinous crime actual human beings or mere demons in mortal skin! See, you murdered the messenger, but not the message. May the gentle and precious soul of the late great Patrice Emery Lumumba HERO OF AFRICA, find eternal rest, in the Gracious Name Of Jesus.
