Well, I finally quit procrastinating and made the new and improved Duel review.
This was a project I had planned for the old channel and it's nice to finally put it together.
As you may know this movie has been imitated in some way by almost every killer car flick. (and others)

This movie is without a doubt the reason semi trucks became a popular weapon of choice for many movies to come. Joy ride ,Maximum overdrive ,Wrecker,Trucks were inspired by this one film.

It is impossible not to imitate this movie. It took everything original. For example the fact that the trucker's face can't be seen( we have also seen this but in different way in Joyride movie series) and all those trucker's cat and mouse playing with our main character( like when he didint let David pass him, and getting away from him while David tryed to catch him on foot) Duel is one of favourites.

If you wonder how the truck was able to go so ridiculously fast: In the film, the truck was capable of hauling speeds up to 95 mph thanks to a modified 300 horsepower twin turbo charged Cat-1674 engine with a 13-speed transmission.

One time when my dad and I were driving up to town, a truck driver cut him off (by that, I mean the truck exited the off-rump when we had the right of way) so he barrels past the truck laying on the horn and I spent the rest of the drive paranoid (since I was high) that the trucker driver was gonna come after us thanks to this movie. Never piss off somebody driving a vehicle big enough to crush yours like a soda can.

Amazing but spooky movie by Steven Spielberg, who done awesomely job by directing E.T. the Extra Terrestrial, Jaws, Jurassic Park and Ready Player One. Can you do the videos about The Car, Wheels of Terror, Maximum Overdrive, Rolling Vengeance, The Ambulance (in honor of its 30th anniversary, this year), Supernatural: Route 666, Black Cadillac, Crash!, The Car: Road to Revenge and Trucks?

the reasoning in why the truck was going fast was cause it had a turbocharger,but it was NEVER EVER said in why the tanker was empty or why the truck didn't explode @ the end, even after hitting the ground NOSE FRIST.DUEL is up there with THE CAR & CHRISTINE

The scene where the truck falls off the cliff and that dust cloud, if you play that side by side when Jaws sinks to the bottom of the ocean, you can see jaws and the truck are pretty much based off the same exact style of death.

I was playing around with the sound mixer, you can adjust the different layers of audio. (movie audio, music, narration) This one favors the narration a little more.
