I think I have watched every one of your videos, but this is my first time I decided to post a comment. I really don't know a person that describes perfume scents as good as you. And your whole style, from filming videos to blog posts and opinions about some beauty related topics is really special, I feel like there isn't so much true characters like yours in this whole sell out youtube beauty community. I hope that we will be seeing more of your videos. Stay true to yourself and keep up the good work :)

I love this.. "A perfecgt scent for a funeral". So poetic. I need to look into a lot of these perfumes. They are so interesting. Right now my favorite is Diptyque "Volutes".. Smells just like cigars on a sexy 1800's night.. Love it!
@cp_honey9 жыл бұрын
Drunk bumblebee, that's wonderfully vivid! :D You just gave me a bunch of ideas of new scents I wanna try. Your sense of smell and connection to associations is so sharp - creative and to the point; just gorgeous! And I see everyone else here adores your perfume descriptions just as much.

"An elevator where someone has peed", hahahahahha, gorgeous description, I can even smell it!! I love your fragrances videos, all of them. The first part was great too, I really smiled when you said Versace Noir smells like a vampire on the beach. Funny, because I always use to say it smells like Maleficient drinking a coconut cocktail beverage... Please, keep on doing these videos, good job!!

I was so happy to see this pop up in my feed this week. I've watched your first collection videos a few times each year since I started collecting perfumes about three years ago. I like seeing how you've expanded and edited your bottles since then. (POAL is one of my favorites as well!). Lovely collection. Thanks for sharing.

Amazing selection of fragrance! I think you would really like Liz Earle fragrance no 15 - it's woody, balsamic with a soft floral notes and earthy/spiciness! It's my go-to autumn/winter perfume :)

Viola, I really enjoy watching your reviews! Please consider talking about practical elements, as well: price, longevity, and projection- many of us have clear preferences when it comes to how strong or long-lasting a perfume needs to be.

I love how you describe scents as a feeling or place. I wish I was as romantic with my fragrances, but unfortunately most perfumes smell vaguely fresh-fruity, powdery, or spicy to me and then smell like nothing after 10 minutes. I just don't have a very sensitive nose, I guess! 😩

I like your taste! Really happy to have discovered your channel. I would say that I don't generally like really sweet scents with caramel notes, but that's my personal preference. I do however, really like YSL Black Opium. Have you tried that one? The dry down is divine. other recent discoveries of mine include Versace Crystal Noir (new favorite), Dahlia Divin by Givenchy, and Michael by Michael Kors. Dahlia Divin is a pretty basic perfume, but it's a grown up basic perfume. it's definitely a lot of gardenia and jasmine, but it's balanced out by bright Mirabelle plum and a sandalwood and patchoulo base. It reminds me of the color gold when I wear it. it's a great office fragrance. Michael by Michael Kors is a weird fragrance. The dominant note is Tuberose, but it has a comforting cashmere and musk base. I don't know how to describe it. The base is like a perfect blend of cashmere, musk, and powdery iris and peony. And the Tuberose is so bright on top if it. I talked to several sales associates who said it was their favorite and I definitely understand why.

I have a book about perfumes written by "experts" and I didn't enjoy their descriptions nearly as much as yours. I've ignored my fragrance collection for awhile but after watching your videos, got my samples and bottles out to use more often. Will you *please* make a video of your samples? We would love it! I find your blog more enjoyable than any other when I'm looking for makeup ideas.

I'll fight you over PoaL. Kidding. We can share it. It really is the most beautiful thing. I also love Carnal Flower-- not in the same way, but I find that while it is just as heady, it is much more of a summer scent. De Profundis and Rose de Nuit are the only SL that I have in the bell-shaped bottles. I have recently gotten into Tubéreuse Criminelle, and what an oddball it is. I find I like many of the same frags as you, but with much less appreciation of candied, vanilla notes. I think I don't always love the way vanilla evolves on my skin, with the recent exception of Dior Fève Délicieuse.

Hi, Can you do a review of all of your Chanel perfumes? like your favorites and the occasions they would used for. I recently purchased and returned lol Coco EDP because it smelled like spicy water when i brought it home and it seemed very weak and i could barely smell it. I was so disappointed. So i returned it and purchased the EDP and body cream of narciso rodriguez's new perfume narciso. It is absolutely the smell and strength i was going for with chanel. However i would still like to give Chanel a try again but i don't know where to start . My main goal is luxury and smelling sexy even from a distance. Thx for reading this :)

have you tried or do you like any other L'Artisan scents? I guess it's my favourite perfume brand of all.
@KillerColours9 жыл бұрын
+De Melkmeid L'Artisan and I rarely click, there's something about the ID of them that I don't like. The ones I do like though is La Chasse aux Papillons (as shown in the video), Seville a l'Aube which is a waxy orange blossom and the spicy Tea for Two. Last two still not really bottle worthy in my opinion.
@lelechim8 жыл бұрын
I'll be honest, with how Part 1 started out with Mugler Angel and Alien, I thought this was going to be a collection of mainstream fragrances. I am pleasantly surprised to see the great variety you have, from brands that are not very well-known. I've only ever tried a couple of samples from Parfumerie Generale, but their prices are pretty high, so I don't think I could afford a full-sized bottle :(
