Blue's Clues vibes can be felt, but when I saw the drawing of the chainsaw, I just thought "Yep, something dark just went down." The foxes are cute, and I thought they were like very furry cats too. The chase could've been shorter, but good game still. And I didn't know what to expect, so hope when the next chapter drops, Mike could play it for us

We only have a first chapter and already I have a few guesses as to what exactly Crum did to the show. My biggest clue (pun intended) is the newspaper at 8:36 . That last sentence from the third article is *really* settin off alarm bells: "But it's clear he wants to bring some of his engineering expertise into the show's very *DNA."* If Game Theory has taught me anything, it's that keywords like that aren't thrown in there without reason. My hypothesis? I'm willin to bet that robotics ain't the *only* type of engineering Crum is skilled in...

I love how in the imaginary freind games, the horror isn’t focused around the mentally ill and making them seem like inhuman monsters, the horror is focused on the historical mistreatment and lack of understanding when in comes to the treatment of mentally ill patients.

What I say next could be 100% wrong, but it’s the best I can do with the information given. The player character is clearly supposed to be the original show-runner, the one from the beginning and ending clip. Unlike his replacement, he seems to genuinely care about both entertaining children and the wellbeing of Mint and Co. This lead him to go against the people paying for everything, as some of the ideas they told him to do were stuff he didn’t want to put his little friends through. So they decided to replace him with someone who not only would go through with their ideas, but also improve them and make them happen even sooner. Mint clearly didn’t want to go along with it and the new guy got so angry he used the new chainsaw character to chop up Mint and Fuschia before putting them through the process that left them in their current state in addition to making smaller R/C type foxes to help them get around the show quicker (the things that chased you). Wanting to put things back to normal, Mint lures the old host back to the show, but is unable to recognize him due to either the Immense pain she’s in or due to the new host’s interference; thus making her attack him until he actually reaches her at the end. Grant Marrs is here in the comment section, correct me where needed just don’t spoil anything for people who haven’t seen the whole series yet (this command shall expire on 10/31/2025)!

Grant IS Based off of Steve Burns back in the day[Before he became bald(which is the TRUE reason why he stopped being the host of the show and why he was replaced by Donovan Patton in the role of Joe, Steve's In-Show Younger Brother; Because Steve was losing his hair, and that's also why he had more hair in season 1 than he did in his final full season as the host of the show before Donovan Patton replaced him) and started wearing Glasses like he saw in the First Episode of the Revival called Blue's Clues & You with Josh replacing both Steve and Joe as the host of the show!]

Well, based off of the start, we (as in the player/protagonist) are the old show runner. Considering that some of the characters remember us. And at 2:17 Sprinkles say "A lot has changed since you were the showrunner" and so on. So this gets a clear idea who the player is. We don't know why we were replaced in the first place but all we know from Sprinkles is that "we left" the show and got replaced by Alistair Crum as the new showrunner.

The first mins of the game were a big Blue's Clues reference (maybe a homage or even BASED OFF of it) and I loved that! Also, here's a tip for the chase: If you use the pink Flashbright, Fuchsia is alerted. If you use the green (mint) Flashbright instead, Mint is alerted. I think that's the mechanic because everytime you turn on a Flashbright, the fox that hs the same color starts approaching (at least that's what I saw). Check the video and you might see what I'm talking about. Also, the dev commented, so please, dev, correct me if I'm wrong. Thank you for reading!
