It wasn't Street Fighter II, neither Mortal Kombat. It was Killer Instinct what hooked me up when i was a kid. The combos feel very different than the other games, and that makes them so satisfying to connect them.

Never got play it in an arcade. But I remember the first night me and a friend went to his uncle house and he had this new game for super Nintendo he wanted show us. Back in the 90s the only reason I bought SNES was for KI. That was the only game I owned until many many years later I moved to Japan. I ended up buying one of the Street Fighter versions and also Mortal Kombat which were for the Super Famicon. The SNES was the US version of the Super Famicon. When I bought those gamesI had to modify the plastic shell on the cartridge so they would fit into my SNES and they played perfectly.

Hello Mr. Castro I have been playing this Killer Instinct for many years but I cant seem to do the regular 49 hit Ultra with Orchid, I've downloaded this video and looked over that specific ultra more than I can count and followed everything in sequence. At the start of it after the medium jaguar and trip, I get the back flip to connect but not the light punch linker. Am I doing something wrong?
