Is that a Thebes point? Beautiful. I knew an old Indiana collector who told me forty years ago there is nothing like finding that Indiana slate. He had a passion for it and knew all the best spots.

Me and my brother, while we haven't made any videos yet, just recently came across some of your videos. We thought it was interesting so we got permission to hunt a couple property's, including two not a minute away from our place. We found a celt, a ton of scapers, and 23 arrowheads, barely none are broke. We have been doing really good, we have been blessed to have been finding great stuff. Thank you for getting us on the hunt with them, I appreciate it. Love your videos and keep up the great work, we hunt in northern Kentucky and have tons of property to walk if you are ever up this way.

6 hours to walk all that LMAO your walking way to fast, It takes me 6 hours to walk 1 mile of a creek. Im in southern Indiana and been walking a creek for 1 year and 4 months now. I have found some amazing pieces and found my first turkey tail a few weeks ago 4" long. Found a 4-1/4" long dove and a small dove that I cant find any imfo on what type of material it is. It is yellow, green with brown and red strips. A very beautiful piece. Love your finds Congrats Would love to send you pic of my finds so far.

Just curious, without being too specific, what general area are you hunting? I haven't hunted arrowheads since I was a kid but still fascinated by them. I'm in East-central IN. Greenfield/Knightstown area. Your fields look a little more rolly than the ones near me.

At 19:25 that's a MacCorkle, or at least that's what they are called in Ohio. It is from 9000 to 8500 years before present, so it is old.

Hey Jeff, gotta say I love your videos! I've just recently discovered your channel. I've hunted arrowheads since I was a kid in central Indiana myself and apparently closer to you than I realized. You mentioned in this video you were just south of Tippecanoe co. I've hunted in Tippecanoe co. my whole life. I'm subscribed to a few different channels for arrowhead hunting and happened to stumble onto yours. I'm super happy I did, it makes it that much better when you can really relate to the kind of videos you watch! Anyway, thanks for the entertainment and huge CONGRATULATIONS on the the Thebes and the Dovetail, both are super nice finds!

A new site is one of the best things to come around when you do what we do. I kinda feel sorry for folks who don’t know the joy of walking along in a place where at any time you could walk up on something that gives you such an overload of happiness and excitement. If it’s not completely miserable weather I walk 5 to 7 miles every day and never doubt that I’m only steps from walking up on the find of a lifetime. I started chasing rocks in 1980 and still get the same thrill when I find a run of the mill stemmed point or rough Madison. Like I said, I feel sorry for folks who don’t know what that feels like. I also feel sorry for people who try to ruin other people’s days by saying negative things that serve no purpose whatsoever, they’re sort of like biting insects, you appreciate the days that they all got eaten by birds. Walk On

Straight up killer hunt Jeff. That Thebes is awesome and so is the Dovetail. The second piece you picked up the gray one looked like the end of flutes on both sides. I think the native people broke the Celt. Stay safe brother and good luck not that you need it.

You are on fire bro....for sure!!! And the way I look at it, if it’s even remotely close to a creek and they didn’t have to worry about flooding.....they were probably there at some point!! So it’s always worth the shot to check it out....as you found out!!! Huge congrats my friend and thanks for the awesome kill shot...got me right in the eye!!!! Lol!! 👍
@carmineredd11984 жыл бұрын

that guy blocked me because I said to a contest winner to delete her personal info, then he snidely remarked he posts his , but he never did, so Action Jackson told me his name and I went back and posted it then he got butthurt and blocked me , I should call DNR and have him arrested for digging illegally trespassing et al , David Christian Andersen I think is Rocks Cousteau real name if I find out his address DNR going to get a call and he will go to prison

Im glad that you post the broken pieces, too, because it helps me learn what to watch out for. I dont know how one can tell the difference between any broken stone relics and just a regular rock. I need to study up on it.

@carmineredd11984 жыл бұрын
scooter ? moped ? those are the best, you can take them about anywhere , I have one I might go back to a site I found 20 years ago where I found my first arrowhead by scooping out a mud puddle for my dog to drink out of , I never over hunted it and the creek below upstream yielded mako shark teeth

You know it's strange how many that people still find but then again these were the quintessential tools for hundreds and hundreds of years of even into the thousands if we think about how many items that we own today far as sockets and wrenches and drill bits and you name it I literally have thousands and thousands of pieces that will surely be around much much longer than I will i'm sure the people of yesteryear were the same way each man might have had up to five or even 10,000 arrowheads and stone tools a piece
