It looks very good, perhaps it lacks a bit of interaction with the environment, hiding place... car trunk, cupboard... possibility to turn off the light in certain areas.. for example, in ride corridors... but I didn't see many indoor buildings, but the universe is great, I hope the soundtrack will follow suit like in the movie. I hope that the circus tent map will have areas where the lamps flicker, in short, that it will be immersive and spooky. The choice of retro mini-games is brilliant. Now everything will depend on the content of the game, maps/modes...

So I'm just gonna be honest and please don't take this in any discredit or ignorance towards the game- In regards with the stream I strongly believe it was rather foolish to showcase the pre-alpha build to the game and NOT Something which would be close to the product your releasing in 3 weeks time and yet we are still seeing work which is months old. Furthermore more based on feedback and other videos watched there is a concern of what we are going to be getting once the game does drop with more questions than answers in regards of the choosing or preferences of which team you are on or what appears to be an unbalance when it comes to the Klowns vs The humans or even the quick escapes because you know there are gonna be speed runners (that 15 gamerscore in achievements isn't saying alot and comes off as likely to be common) However with all that being said I am still looking forward to the deluxe edition when it drops and I cannot wait to play- And I sure there are def gonna be some bugs here and there are launch which wouldn't surprise me but at the end of the day, JUST want a fun game to come back to over and over again because this was a favorite movie of mine and with other Asymmetrical games going down (Looking at you TCM, Wes.....) this may be the last chance we have.... Please do good by us Illfonic.

They haven't given up on any of their games. Friday the 13th DLC was stopped due to a lawsuit but they continued making quality of life updates to improve that game for years. Texas Chainsaw Massacre just got a new update yesterday.

THEY NEED TO GET RID OF PREFRENCES IF THIS GAME IS GONNA SURVIVE LONGTERM . having parties together in one role literally makes or breaks games like this because at its core its a party game . As soon as you split up friends playing parties the game isnt as fun anymore . Also imagine like if your really not in the mood to play either a specific side making it random will have people throwing or quitting early to get the side/role they want to be in = more bad perception towards games . And also imagine streamers giving viewers opportunities to help them as killer or survivor GARUNTEED. . more engaging content and in turn bigger buzz for the game . I understand that sides will obviously be lopsided but do what dbd does and have xp/bloodpoint equivalent boost to a specific side that has less players. . Maybe a challenge could be (play as “insert less player side” for extra xp or battle pass token or whatever . Or make cosmetics unlock/tokens only specific to whichever side has less players. . BUT PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD MAKE TURN OFF PREFRENCE BASED MATCHMAKING

Steam recently changed pre-release refund policy. No more unlimited hours and refund before actual release. I don't know which dev/publisher asked them to change this "hole"/feature, but it removes the chance to test the game. Another thing is "Pre-Alpha" video. There could be a lot of good changes or there could be none. In either case, publisher and fanatics can find excuse. Criticized the game before release? - Bruh its pre alpha bruh. They'll update it. Criticized the game after release? - What did you expect bruh. You've seen the stream already. They couldn't/wouldn't change it much. This whole situation smells like infant's diaper. Especially if you know Illfonic past history. Nothing personal. By the time we can realistically learn about the problems of the game, it will be too late for refund. It is also obvious that there will be much more "skilled" players in game, than what we saw here. It looks like killing the clown is easy. It looks like escaping via boat is easy (since you also can't do anything once they start the engine. F13 had counter). No region/ping filters were shown. Amazing... The fact that you can't always play as clowns... They should be strong then. Very strong... What about bots? Will they replace only humans? Either way, I can imagine how fun it is to play with bot teammates. I suppose there won't be another stream soon? With the final game build? Russian roulette it is.
