I had a young mother as a patient in the ICU who had drank 4 Monsters during her 3rd shift job at a gas station. She had a seizure and got severe brain damage when she stopped breathing. No one came into the gas station for 10 minutes. She was in a coma and had to be on life support. She was eventually taken off life support and passed away. She was just doing what she thought she had to to work several jobs for her children. I'll never forget her.

Hi Bailey, FYI: When an expert testifies on someone's behalf, they are ALWAYS paid! Depending on the case and the depth of the science involved, they are paid quite well. Of course, they must have the credentials and come through with the science. There are consulting companies that being expert witnesses is all they do. I temped at one of those companies for a while, it was fascinating! Love you!

Two and a half years ago, I was working closing shifts at Wal-Mart. It was a ritual for me to grab a Monster or Red Bull for my shift, no matter the flavor. I knew it was bad, but I was in my F It era. Cut to my car accident and catastrophic injury November of '22 (and, trust me, that'sa whole other story); I quit cold turkey. Since then, I've only had one Monster. I still don't understand why we carded for pure acetone and not energy drinks 😒 Love your shows, Bailey! Keep up the awesome work, beautiful 💙🖤

I tasted a Red Bull once, YUK! The smell of taurine was an instant turn-off and it gave me heart palpitations right away. My nephew tried Jagerbombs for his 21st bday. We were on the fence in the morning about taking him to the E.R. Got my hub to stop drinking energy drinks. He's borderline diabetic, too old for that garbage, and juiced for him at home instead. No chemicals, just food. Heartburn stopped and much more. They're absolute garbage.

I was told by a police officer that you can get a DUI if you drink energy drinks back to back and drive. The large amount of stimulant in it can cause a similar effect to being intoxicated.
@HellphireQueen7 ай бұрын
I mean any reckless driving if you fail a field sobriety test would cause you to get a DWI/DUI. You could try to get a breathalyzer or blood test to disprove it but that would be difficult.

They’ve said this about medications too to my mum, but when checking with a doctor & pharmacist & her car insurance & Google they said this was not the case unless you knew you were impaired & still drove. It would be reckless at that point, not due to the medication itself but due to the impairment. Many people take medications & do not get severe side effects that impair their concentration etc so it’s a case by case basis and of course is dependent on whether you have a legal prescription for those meds.
