Redtooth is so impactfull because he's the first enemy who actually is a real monster. The prince of Stan had technology but he and all the other more serious enemies were humans until that point but when redtooth appeared we didn't know anything about what he is. We just knew that he seemed not really human. He doesn't even move like a human when he fights.
