Incredible encounter with the 27s orca pod off Shetland, Scotland UK! The pod was patrolling the shallow bays preying on the population of seals in the area. The pod was getting extremely close to the shore, eventually coming within meters from where we were standing!

​@findingfinsuk Stunning! I live in Scotland, and its a dream of mines to see them here at home. If I booked a holiday to Shetland at at specific time of year etc is it a guarantee to spot them ? Any advice greatly appreciated on the best way to see them here in Scotland.

@tonytagine9551 orca (and this exact pod) can also be seen off the mainland too! Check out some of our other videos of them off mainland Scotland 😊 The coast from Helmsdale all the way up to Duncansby Head is great for spotting, especially between April and June which is the peak time of year. They can been seen all year around but there is never any guarantee 💙
