SeaWorld Orlando, Orca Stadium, 1pm Killer Whales Up Close Tour. June 2nd, 2021.
Featuring Katina, Malia, and Nalani.
Whew. Wanted to get this one uploaded for a while but I just kept putting it off. I'm also very nervous about people using this footage against my wishes, so bear in mind that if it happens repeatedly, I'll be privating this video for my own well-being. These tours are very, very special to me, so I rarely upload footage from them. Meeting Katina was unlike anything else. She was so, so interactive and excited to participate, very interested in the guests, and just so beautiful. I hope I get the chance to meet her again in the future! She's a national treasure
Very, very grateful to the trainers that honored my request to meet Katina. It seriously made my year!
Highlights:
0:00 - Nalani, Malia, and Katina in the back pools
0:27 - The girls enter the show pool
With some nice commentary from trainer Justin!
1:29 - Katina comes over, waves with her pecs
2:30 - Katina gets a rubdown!!
4:33 - Katina rolls over (my absolute favorite)
5:09 - Feeding
A very special thank you to the trainer that got this footage! I can't remember her name, but she recorded my friend and I during a few group behaviors with Tina and even went out of her way to get extra close footage of her being fed at the glass! The trainers are seriously such amazing people
5:33 - Splashes + tour ends
Usage:
- Trainers may use this footage in any way they see fit. Trainers are not required to credit me, but it would be appreciated!
- Editors may not use this footage due to the content. Meeting Katina was really special and I'd like for this to just be uploaded purely as a way to share my experience with all of you. There's a chance I'll change this in the future, but for now, please refrain from sharing unless you are a trainer :)
- My footage is not to be used for anti-zoo and/or anti-aquarium propaganda. If my content is used and/or reuploaded against my will, I will be taking measures to have it removed if you do not comply.
