Killer Yousef Palani hospitalises prison officer in brutal assault

Serial killer Yousef Palani has attacked a prison officer in Portlaoise jail and will now be controlled by controversial barrier handling while moving about the prison.
Palani, who came to Ireland from Iraq, murdered two men and attacked another during a killing spree spurred by his hatred of homosexuality.

Irish taxpayers are paying for this vile excuse for a human being. No mention of how and who radicalised him, no mention of the huge sum of money found in his family home. I'm sure he had/has connections with other radical Muslims. No mention of what enquiries were made onto his immediate and extended family. He was brought up in Ireland but he clearly has never integrated. He demonstrated his disgust and contempt for the Irish, absolutely no sign of gratitude for the help he was given. He has 7 siblings, I hope that the garda are monitoring them

We don't have capital punishment in Ireland (more's the pity) it was abolished for all but those guilty in a limited set of crimes in 1964 and abolished in full in 1990. It needs to be brought back.
