The second fight with her on the harder difficulty is absolutely insane. She kills most of the Smiths in a matter of seconds and has a seemingly endless pool of health. Cannot even cheese her that easily with Mask, for she simply refuses to die. When the second phase begins, you cannot even believe that she still has half of her health left. Her teleportation nonsense is also just ridiculous - if you get stun-locked by it, you are often just done. Do not even get me started on the sorta third phase. You think you have her, but she just starts unleashing hell on you, and if you dare to reload at the wrong time, you are once again just done. This bloody anime chick is more powerful then any other character in the entire game. She could easily be the main character of her own game.

Just fought her yesterday for the first time in years. I was rapidly tapping the heal button every time I was caught in a hail of gunfire. Kept Con alive long enough to riddle her with bullets as well. But damn, I was nearly out of blood by the end of it. Insane how much she can take and dish out. Shame she didn't become Ayame Smith afterward.

I remember being 13 years old and fighting Ayame Blackburn the ISHIZAKA parking lot. As you get more hits in, Ayame starts to pick up speed and shoot more bullets! Used to get me really tense when it came to that part because at the same time that music in the background was bumpin’!

K7 is one of the most overlooked games of that generation. It's a shame Suda51 hasn't managed to produce anything on par since. I remember when I finished the game, it was the same feeling I had when I completed Silent Hill 2 - put the controller down and wow.... just wow......

@@artillerydrago755 I felt the opposite, that the excess preciseness required in some combat sections and the numerous transitions would make a 0-commentary LP the best choice to enjoy this game (past the first level of course, that one is an absolute must play). Maybe the controller plug-ins for the emulator aren't precise enough for Killer7? (note: own the original disk, just don't own a working PS2 controller)

Not “Apparently”, he _is_ the composer of the soundtrack (along with Jun Fukuda), and it's apparently Takada's favorite work. Pretty much every game directed by Suda51 since Moonlight Syndrome has a soundtrack composed by Masafumi Takada.

Other way around for me. Took some time it figure out the timing on shooting her given her rate of speed, but I handled the first round okay. The second time, I'm spamming the heal button just to survive a barrage. It's insane, the amount she unloads.

I’m gonna be real, this fight wasn’t too bad, even on Bloodbath difficulty. Maybe because I’m a good shot or something, I was able to beat her on the hardest setting in only 2 tries using Mask. Although, I can totally imagine others getting destroyed by her, especially during the second phase.

If you're fighting Ayame Blackburn in the amusement park's parking lot, just use Mask de Smith to defeat her quickly. The explosive area-of-effect that Mask's attacks cause make hitting her much easier when she starts to speed up.

Hate the boss fight but love the music. Fucks you up on Deadly BADLY. Fucking goes too fast, has s, and is a tank. I would love it a lot less if it was two of the three, like fast and tanky is okay, s and tanky is okay, s and fast is okay. but all three at once is a huge fuck you that i absolutely loath on this boss.

She's also technically the last real boss fight. Next one is a quick draw game, then the Handsome Men shootout...Greg Nightmare kinda is a boss until he spawns those invincible Smilies that only the golden gun can kill...but with Ayame, it's a straight fight.
