The problem with the warden is the increased vibration makes it susceptible to noise machines, which combined with a trap of an rapid firing dispenser, tnt, or another kind of trap it does not make it a threat. Fighting it in straight up pvp will most likely end badly. If you use a end crystal or such it would work (if you didn't blow yourself up)

That's a bug, and will be fixed as confirmed by a dev. Don't know when In Bedrock Edition, they prioritize player vibrations instead of any vibrations, so if they have to choose between a piston/noteblock and you, they'll choose the player.

I’ve defeated 80 wardens before (without using cheaty strategies like shooting it from far away) but never at the same time. Good luck ivory! Edit: The strategy she used was actually really smart, the only gripe I have with it is that it doesn't give you kill credit in the statistics.

Honestly, the analytical nature that Ivory has is genuinely terrifying, she doesn't incite fear with the normal intimidation tactics, she simply appears, glances around, and instantly knows how to make the best of any situation, and people KNOW this, and THAT is what causes the fear. In short, a player could have the best weaponry and gear, but if they don't know what to do in a situation, they're dead.

I'm not sure melee with no armor is possible by anyone, though I could be wrong. You get 1 shot by I think all of it's attacks, so the only way to do it without dying I think would be to have a absolute ton of pearls, turtle master pots, and totems

And she's still got it, nailing it with both the editing and in-game skill! I honestly did not expect anybody could survive a straightforward melee fight with the warden due to not just the usual damage output being pretty ridiculous, but its ranged attack straight up ignoring almost all forms of damage reduction. Turns out I was wrong to be doubting there, but wow was that 1v1 a tense fight to watch. Also, I love the coincidence of your skin making for perfect contrast shots with the warden, since it's black with greenish blue accents vs white with rose accents, heavy and grounded vs light and theoretically capable of flight, big vs comparatively small.

(plus, they wouldn't actually need the god apples, if they just stayed underground spamming crystals, or killed it a cheaper way) Ivory's whole thing is that she finds clever ways to win in situations. Being able to identify weaknesses from something as powerful as a warden, and manipulating them for a victory, is farrr more impressive than just killing the warden, that's what makes her good at the game..

To be fair, nearly any video game AI can be easily beaten with enough study and preparation (and a sizeable amount of technical skill). I think the warden is to be able to beat players in actual survival worlds by taking them by surprise. The “Invulnerable killing machine” idea is likely in comparison to regular survival gear (top tier or otherwise), killing wardens like this is very resource draining and makes them much more powerful in the content of a survival world.(what Minecraft is designed for)

Actually you only need to dig 1 block deep, or just place the obsidian on the ground, if you can evade the warden well enough. The explosion will not hurt you if it can't hit your feet.

nice vid, but I got something to say. The reason it's "too easy" is because you had all the right items and stuff that would be usually extremely hard to get normally. It's like going into creative and grabbing the things you would need to beat the ender dragon and switching back to survival to do it with the items that you illegitimately got. That's not the only thing though. You had said too easy when moments ago you were on the brink of death (half a heart). Your Strat was also not why people call it hard. Your Strat was axe crit hitting the warden over and over again and pearling far away and then eating a golden apple. try doing one head on without enchanted armor and maybe 2 pearls. Its not designed for going into a hole and using end crystals over and over again. It's vulnerability comes at melee, which is what Mojang was going for, not blowing them up every 3 seconds. What I'm saying is that, the Strat's you did were basically either hiding from the warden or getting far away from the warden, which, furthermore, proves that it's a strong mob. You had to run/hide from it. Those were the Strat's! And you might say "she did it without armor for the end crystal Strat." and yes, she did manage to do it without the major things, like armor, pearls, and weapons, but at the end of the day, none of that ever mattered if she was just in a hole the whole time. Imagine if she wasn't in the hole. What would have happened then? Yeah, she would have died. It even shows when you were actually killing all the 100 wardens. You gave yourself a STACK of notch apples (keep in mind, insanely hard to get in survival) full enchanted netherite gear, and you were also running and hiding from them the whole time. This whole video actually shows how strong the mob is. Another point to keep in mind is that the hole you dug is a one block hole, meaning the wardens are virtually helpless when it comes to melee attacks, which gives you an unfair advantage. So, with that in mind, try beating them with full iron, unenchanted, and a melee of your choice. nothing else, just that. If you really want to get extreme, try diamond armor, and add maybe 3 normal golden apples and one notch apple. Fight against 2, just to be fair. now see how hard it is? That is how it was designed. A total of more than 50+ enchanted golden apple, More than 20 kits of those good potions, Full max enchanted netherite sets including kits, More than 2 stacks of end crystals were used in the battle between Ivory and 100 warden. Her award? 100 mere skulk sensors. Ivory, Although you may have technically won this battle but you forgot a key factor. In PURE survival, You need to grind for these items. Those enchanted apples? MONTHS. Those good kits of potions, end crystals and netherite sets? WEEKS. And all those items wasted for just a mere fight. Its safe to say, Mojang has *won this war*

I personally found that beating the warden is surprisingly easy. With 5 shields, a stone axe and a small amount of food just to keep me sprinting, I can kill it confidently

Not to hate, but imp, the melee fight was extremely rigged lol. You spawned a Warden in a super flat world, where you are free to move around and have time to heal when you pearl, but in reality the encounters you actually have with Wardens are mostly in caves, which almost renders pearling useless. On paper, that is.

Spawning a Warden in a super flat world isn't really showing that, and yes, although she technically could mine out the surrounding areas, the way she uses ender pearls makes it so that it will take ages to mine out enough areas to be able to make it the same as the super flat world, and to do that you need dedication.
