I hope a good amount of this litter survives so you can have more paws to help around the den and stuff. Keep up the lovely work! Tip: If you press Y that'll make you whine and invite your packmates to go out with you. Extra Tip: If you whine, the packmates who want to go out on an excursion will gather around and whine back. So you don't have to walk up to them. If other packmates are farther away and can't hear your whine, walk up to them and whine.

also tips! i found that if you chase elk in the wrong elevation, they with path back up or down over days, causing them to be more likely to stay in your territory. elk/ other moms are good to kill when the babies are hiding. you find the baby, don't kill it, wait for the mom to run up near, bit once, and let the pack do the rest. also I know you hate mule deer, and I totally get it now. they are only worth going for on full health but lower hunger and full rest. oh and in growing pups sleep only once, eat/ hunt and feed. sleep, repeat, mark if needed and loop is a pattern I like. also in growing pups I tend to like to take all the pack out to eat from a carcess and then bring a chunk back for pups. a tip for territory I have is that hex raids are desratcions for the whole pack, meaning while they clam your hex you can get there's with little risk of them attacking you. you can also steel back hexes they just took when the move on to the next. also in young hunters when wolves attack you and it plays the den attack sound and has the wolve icon, run out of the hex, and so you dont lose when they howl step back in it and howl back. sorry for all the long comments I really dont mean to be annoying, I just dont know anyone who like wq irl and I like talking about it

For the story-telling stuff, you could say that when a wolf does something big or daring, etc., it becomes a guide wolf, and it could send the in-game dreams. you then could inturprate who sent the dream based on the contents of it and you could say that its a quest or warning or such that could change your wolves behaviour. so a dream with fire might make your wolf wery to go in the forest and it could cause them to move the pups to a different den that's open, or a dream with eagles could make you wolf move to a wooded den and such. they don't all have to be serious either, you could say a dream gave your wolf a craving or made it grumpy lol

Okay, okay, I need to spill about my accurate wolf pack now because, dude, it's so hard, like, omg. I'm also bad at not dying, so that's fun. Honestly, you are impressing me with the fact that you have kept your main wolf alive because, god, I can not do that for the life of me. Like, dude. I'm gonna lay it out with numbers beside each wolf. i had robin (1) , who was the child of my first ironwolf but was already grown so I made a new pack with him. i named it the dire pack because I was already dying before I had pups and I was kinda trying to be ironicly emo. found mate named spring (2). had 7 pups and then messed with bison, and robin died like the second day of having pups. switched to spring, found new mate named Feather (3). spring died defending pups from grizzly and got one hit. played as feather and got mate ospray (4) feather died from fall damage after I gliched a jump. got new mate quick named dove (5). FINALLY got to young hunters, only two pups lived. killed of ospray on purpose cus she was low health and only 2 star with dove. found new mate named quail (6). jesus. it was a very stressful year. The two pups lived, and I played as Dove. He and Quail had seven pups, and I played him until the rendezvous. I was at a carcass and full health and got stunned by a grizzly and one hit. I continued as Flare (one of robins pups), and there are three of doves pups left, which is better than last year!

@RoomTemperatureMilk-Blue lmao real, i never played accurate before but I was killing bull elk regularly on challenging with my iron wolf, so I wanted to try accurate but then I the saga was coming out soon and I didn't want to burn myself out on wolf quest right as it came out, so I waited. I've gotten used to it a bit more tho, and its getting more manageable as I play more.
