it should be noted that the medic has an advantage against both of these enemies. medics are immune to the blinding effect of bloat bile and take less damage from it. and an already detonated gas grenade cannot be destroyed by a siren

Demo grenade and rocket weapons are immune to siren once you reach level 3 or 4 with Demo. She can scream and you can launch a rocket RIGHT threw it.

Berserkers can gain 20 percent resistance to sonic and poison damage, so they’re really good for both Bloats and Sirens as long as you don’t mind getting up close and personal.

I wouldn't be surprised if the Siren has the highest player killcount of any zed in the game. They also always seem to appear besides Fleshpounds an Scrakes, atleast for me anyway.

Yeah, usually the reason for deaths in 6 players HoE is people fleeing from zed hordes and just when they turn a corner they encounter 1~3 sirens together and its basically RIP, instant death.

It sounds like spawn glitch, for multiple sirens to spawn together. They supposed to accompany Scrakes or Fleshpounds as anti-explosive measure, while using them as meatshields to get close.

You know when Richard said they can bring a player to critical health in one scream? How about to no health in one scream. That’s KF1 sirens for ya.

The resistance perk for Berserker nullifies the bloat bile splash effect on the screen which i think is a huge bonus that most people dont seem to be aware of. It makes the berserker a secondary bloat eradication perk if you have a heavy weapon and the smash perk for easy one-shots.

It's honestly not even worth it. Parry is ssssooo much better, plus you can just kite the vomit then headshot it with even a crovel then problem solved.

If I see or hear a siren, my bullets are immediately flying at her head. That is, unless a scrake or FP is there.. Definitely a priority target.

I've noticed something with sirens: You CAN grenade them quite easily when theyre at 100%hp. But as soon as she takes even 1dmg, she becomes "more aware" & will scream in response to projectiles.

I've always found it amusing that Tripwire is trying to make Frag Rounds more appealing to Demo while ignoring the fact that the reason Sonic Resistant Rounds is always taken is because of Sirens.

Fire bugs should target boats as a high priority target. They are neutral to fire damage, and die VERY quickly to ground fire from the caulk 'n' burn or flamethrower, or from the DOT of dual spitfires. They also die rather quickly from the microwave gun or Helios Rifle, only having a 20% resistance to microwave damage. They also don't explode when killed by ground fire or fire DOTS. Firebug is very handy for kiting for this reason, as he very quickly dispatches those pesky bloat squads that can block an entire kiting route otherwise.

The siren is the ultimate finisher zed, even more than clots and crawlers due to just how they can melt you at low health with how hidden in a crowd they can be.

Something telle me that it should be worth mentioning that slashing weapons seem to be really effective at flinch-locking bloats (yes, this includes the basic perk knife). Berserkers would likely want to use Crovel light attacks to dispatch bloats

What strange is that they don't "technically" call it a scream because she has no vocal chords it's a mechanically enhanced sonic blast. That's what the devs put on the trading card for her so no she doesn't technically scream at you cause she doesn't have the part to do so but is replaced with a sonic blast thingy in her neck that's what's glowing not enflamed flesh from her not shutting the hell up

you forgot to mention that it is possible to interrupt a Sirens scream by using a weapon bash. i have found this very useful if you are suddenly flanked by a Siren in the middle of a reload. also a Sirens behavior is focused on staying hidden/in cover of other Zeds always staying behind other Zeds or actively seeking behind other Zeds.

if the siren didn't destroy grenades and projectiles I think the siren would be a little more balanced, instead of having 7 zeds chewing your ass while having to take down a siren that could do HUGE damage to you even on hard mode she can do up to 20-25 damage with mad range that has the HP or being shot in the head 5 - 6 times even by a high tier weapon which is a common situation

Technically, the Siren can't "scream" (at least I'm half certain this is correct). Also, Kevin (The Patriarch) had a siren kill his wife. Next time, also mention the "King Bloat" AKA "The Abomination", since it is technically just a Bloat with some more features.

Damb shame this game has trash can loot boxes. Considering the entire point of the game is dosh im surprised they didnt go with a dosh designed store for gear and customisation. Weapon customization would have been nice too but teipwire decided to cheap out and go with a cg:go style of garbage. Killingfloor2 could have been a good game otherwise.
