@@47RoninGaming it should take approximately 30 shots if you're accurate. However in some public matches with zerks stealing aggro, demos knocking large zeds around etc it's not quite as straight forward. Try and position yourself effectively on a lane with a moderate line of sight and level ground, and partner up with other ballistic perks if possible. Not a problem, appreciate the comments!!

Hey, great guide! Been trying out commando myself recently, I find it quite fun. Gotta ask though, what's your opinion on HMTech-501 and other guns?

Commando can't carry the Fal with the 501, which is a pretty big deal as the Fal is the strongest firepower it has. Because of this and the medics buffing skills (501 nades can buff the entire team at the same time), 501 is typically a better medic weapon. As for other weapons, AK-12 and Scar are very viable choices (usually to replace your 401) as they dish out more dps, however you lose out on the wide range of utility the 401 gives you. If you use AK-12, practice the burst timing as you can shoot it faster in burst mode than full auto. Another thing worth mentioning is that these weapons each weigh 1 less than the 401, meaning you can get a single upgrade on your trash cleaning weapon, Fal (though it already 1 clips everything), or buy a med pistol. @@karolzolkos5818 Yeah. The 501's med nades are usually better utilised as a source of healing (and med buffing) rather than for cleaning trash, especially since the winter update when poison panic mechanics changed. Can be quite hectic and/or annoying for your team. :(

Scar is a very viable choice. M16's dud does have the unique ability to stumble a raging FP, however imo the Fal being able to outright kill FP's, while overall being a much more powerful weapon is a better trade off.

@@philfeap3160 Have just tested this, you don't need impact rounds but you DO need the explosion. I'm pretty sure you used to be able to do it with impact and just the dud. Something must've changed.
