Patriarch is either the hardest boss in the game due to being able to actually instakill your team. It all depends on if you can kill him before he heals. Sometimes, the Freeze Grenades are on your side and you get him, other times he takes off at the speed of light and there's nothing you can do about it. That minigun of his SHREDs people. As a Medic, I can keep people alive through Hans' melee attacks, the King Fleshpound attacks, and Abominations residual globs of bloat bile, but the Patriarch can nuke a teammate down in seconds. His "one in the pipe" and minigun are able to 1 shot people, which no other boss is able to do. True, he often goes out like a buster and you kill him before he can heal once, but he's the only boss we ever lose teammates on (or the King Fleshpound if your team is idiotic and focuses him before killing the Quarter Pounds). Case and point: 16:20 in this video. No other boss/enemy in the game can go from their "neutral" position to 100% bursting down someone. No time to get behind cover or anything; that firebug was just fucked.

Slow perks in general suck against every boss. You need to be constantly on the lookout for hiding spots, and engage them when you know the time is correct.

upgrading the pulverizer makes for a nice weapon. I upped it 2x and it was smashing so nice. I would recommend it. I'm gonna up it all the way next time.....

Pulverizer is currently bugged and a bottom tier weapon for Berserker. You actually do more damage without the shotgun shells in it the majority of the time. If you want a similar style weapon that actually is more powerful, upgrade the Crovel (or use the Zweihander if you have it).

BonJoviFanboy I think not. I just kicked ass with it on airship hell on Earth which is good for me cause I'm no Pathfinder. I'm on PS4 so maybe it's your system bugged. I do remember a while back it wouldn't perry right but it's working fine now.

You can go to the KF2 reddit for actual numbers. I promise the Pulverizer does much less damage than it's supposed to; there have been multiple threads about it.

If you want to use it, use it. I'm just letting you know it's bugged and that you will do WAY more damage with literally any other one of the Berserker's weapons upgraded. If you love the Pulverizer, then use it, I'm just letting you know it currently exists in a bugged state.

First of all, Powercore is a great map, most people just aren't capable of playing it properly. Second, nuke is all nice and such, but it is much more satisfying, and also much more effective, if you are able to put out 4 or 5 rockets during zed time with a nice commando extension.

Nah, these small cramped rooms are just lame in my opinion, I much rather prefer an outdoor big map. Zed landing would be the best, but it's still a bit too small.

I can just talk from my own experience, but the most intense matches i had were on holdout maps. Playing with less than 5 people or even some underleveled ones can be very frustrating indeed, but when you have a team of 6p and high level, most of the bigger maps are pretty easy, where on holdout maps it gets a bit more interesting. That is why i like them.

how is he easiest to kite if he is like the second fastest boss and he has a charge ability that chunks for like 70 damage and has rockets that one shot you? and he can do consistant damage at a range.. plus it's nearly unavoidable for him to heal unless you have a full team targeting him and body blocking him and he's completely invisible unless you have a commando... and instead of doing damage over time or small chucks of damage rapidly he just does single chucks of massive damage, or burst damage as some like to call it, so it's much harder for a medic to help a player endure his attacks if his attacks are enough to kill them instantly if they are low enough. maybe that's why people think he's the hardest boss, because he actually fucking is the hardest boss.. if you disagree you are just a blatantly lying.

As a Medic main, I HATE the Patriarch. I can have everyone at full health, with their blood coursing with damage resistance buffs, and he can still 1 shot people on HoE. I've seen more party wipes to him than any other boss by far. True, he can also be the easiest boss if you manage to kill him before he heals, but that requires good team coordination and a fairly good amount of luck. Hate seeing this boss.

BonJoviFanboy glad you agree, so many people overlook how unfair he is, you can make something challenging but fair but he is not fair at all, he even has mortors so you cant simply kite him around an obstacle he can still land those attacks which also nearly kill you in one hit, like fuck

He has relatively low HP than other bosses, but that's depending on the team

For the bosses, use fast perks, fast perks will enable you to outrun him, cut corners and close doors and keep him at distance. Players are just stupid and go right into his face, leave that for berserkers and not your supports/swats. + You can kill him before he heals once if your team knows what they're doing. He is the hardest, but not as hard if you know how to counter him.
