Hey there, Mr. Rat, longtime lurker here! Just wanted to thank you for continuing to provide such quality content, and helping people like me get into Qud for the first time! The other day, I lost a level 31 Syzygyrior (June 24th/Daily 176) with four jacked phase cannons and Tinker III after Eschelstadt lit me on fire and I accidentally moved around the world map without dousing myself. Strangely, this has only increased my love for the game, as I had overcome almost every obstacle with my nine-man party (Phineas Hosiah, Eschelstadt, Warden Esther (x2), Warden 1-FF, Warden Une, Oboroqoro, Jotun & friends) on my way to ransack the Tomb of the Eaters, and was skeptical of spending my remaining playtime farming nectar/warm static. Your unflappable good cheer has helped me stomach this loss, and convinced me to take Esper for a spin. Cheers, mate!

Thank you so much for the kind words! I'm glad that your loss hasn't soured you on the Qud experience, I personally try and find the joy in losing, and consider what I've learned - there's always a new way to die in Qud! I've actually never experienced the burning to death on the over-map before, that is pretty funny. Nine-man party sounds amazing! Happy Qudding! Live and Drink

It was an extra stupid mistake, and one that I've made before. But as you say, the chrome caves are the grave of prince and pauper alike.

GG! I proselytized a robot cherub once, and the only thing that could kill it were mirror bugs because he hit them for his whole hp bar with a claw attack

Yeah I know the feat of fighting a group of mirror bugs. Luckily that's what my clones are for on this run (don't tell them that)

@@Rogue_Rat yeah I was scared of summoning them on the mecha-glowmothed-tk because my dumb ass kept making hand-e-nukes and they just lob them instantly. btw, you ever break into that one legendary mech in the story? free rocket launcher with starburst splash pattern, and several thousand hp. its pretty cool

I cheesed those cherubs so many times =). you can actually go to the screen to the south of the tomb room. there is no normality field there. so i would usually go there and pop precog before fighting them. And thanks for the great content! love to watch your playthroughs.

Thanks for the quality content, been totally hooked on this game for the last couple of weeks! I'd like to encourage you and everyone else playing the game to get engaged in bug reporting and feature requests on the Steam forums, so the devs can keep refining the experience. Keep it up!
