Killing The Queen Bee - Attempt 1

Buddy breaks down the aggressive hive in hopes to find the Bad Queen that's making the whole hive aggressive. I am only allowed to be on the edge of the garden yelling out instructions, it's a difficult task to do alone.

Norma here. You two are very courageous. I watched Kim’s video yesterday and knew that those bees were angry enough to even start coming after her and her animals. You all stay so calm it’s amazing. Thankfully Steph stayed back and no one was seriously hurt. Maybe you need someone more familiar with queen bees to help Buddy search. Put all the animals up before starting. I can’t believe that they were able to sting through the bee suit. I could never have attempted that. Buddy is amazing. Steph, please don’t be tempted to get closer and help. I’m so glad you can do this in Steph’s place. 🙏 for your safety. I wouldn’t want to be in your shoes but it’s wonderful to see the process. Please be extra careful. Use that smoker lots! I’m sure despite your PTSD you’d love to be doing this yourself Steph. Patience. Would it help to call in someone from the Bee Association who might be able to locate that queen? Whoa! I have not watched many of your bee keeping videos before, however I have watched some already. It was a good thing for the trigger warning! While I am not scared of bees, I have had a run in with yellow jackets before. I know they are different but if I were allergic to bees, I wouldn't be here anymore. I am so glad you are ok Steph and that you have the epi pens on you now. That is neat that they only need to mate once, yes I googled it! Hopefully you can find the everyone Queen and get rid of her and get more gentle bees!
