I don't know what to give this video's title. It's about Lilac and Spade talking about their past. In Carol's part, it's about Spade asking if Carol wants to rejoin the Red Scarves.

@@firestar4407 I would assume getting captured by Brevon after trying to stop him alone. Spade follows her into thermal base with Carol but he doesn't really have a cutscene. It was probably meant to be elaborated on in the scrapped Spade route.

@@cliffturbo2146 I guess that doesn't change the fact that what Spade did to Lilac. If she was seperated from her parents in her early life then she has the right to be angry at Spade. Being part of the Red Scarves was a burden later on when Lilac and her friends wanted to ally up with the Magister. Sure, Spade is responsible to those faulty deeds.

Lilac have right to be angry at Spade. She live as an outlaw because of him. Didn't turn out the life she wanted. Still without Red Scarves, Lilac wouldn't be athletic strong and durable fighter like she is now. Carol on the other hand already have connection criminal with her family. At least Lilac and Carol only live as thieves but not murderers.

It's funny because in the first game, it was Spade the one who had a grudge with Lilac (I don't remember why exactly tho, was it because Lilac left the Red Scarves?). Now it is Lilac the one who has a grudge with Spade.

i mean Lilac now has a taste of what a good life is, what being a hero entails, and a more personally defined view of right from wrong... come to think on it, Lilac and Neera are almost the same character except one is a lot more fast and loose (down to being physically so) and the other being... lawful stupid at worst, lawful good at best, fitting of a slow but mighty glacier, at least if we talk personality wise.

You don't remember because it was never elaborated on. I can only take a guess as to what it was that happened based on their conversations. It sounded like whatever the job was it must have been a really big event for Spade which would have changed something for him. But it sounded like it involved Murder so Lilac must have choked and sabotaged the mission.

We really need to get the rundown of their backstory one of these days (Possibly Strife's still working on it) Spade took Lilac away from her home. Lilac ruined a major event for Spade. You can have both be utilized in the future (Spade was in fact the so-called Rival Character for Lilac).

Well you can see that Spade did a terrible thing when even Lilac with her golden heart can't forgive him till their actual days. Like, he was just a small child when stole Lilac's egg, but the fact that after many years and he don't changed his lifestyle to become a good person is a great reason to Lilac treat him like this, otherwise I surely think that Lilac would forgive him and they even could become friends or something. Anyway Spade is changing his personality for good side, he is not so ignorant as he used to be in FP1, he has a great potential to become a good person and leave his dark past about murdering people and Red Scarves behind, I wouldn't be surprised if that happen in some sequel (really hope a sequel :)), but after all Spade still being a mercenary that stole Syntax in the first opportunity.

Apparently he's on the run now not just from Shang Tu and Shuigang, but even the Red Scarves (They sent their member, Club, after Spade after he evaded jail at the end of Freedom Planet 2, according to the post-game dialogue with King Dail, and King Dail says he's going to have it rough if Club ever finds him)

If we go by the oficial ages Spade was 18 in the first game, Lilac was 15, that means that when he stole her egg he was three years old, i can understand why Lilac is still angry with him, but if he was that young, shouldn't we be questioning more why was the three year old prince (or, half prince, but still) with the scarves and why he wanted to impress them so much in the first place? I would like to say that maybe that would be explained in Freedom planet 3, but the developters don't seem interested in explaining more about Spade and the whole deal with the red scarves so i suppose we aren't gonna get answers about that, also idk if it's just me but it feels like part of the characters personality and past were retconned

So that's how Lilac became scarve, although i kinda thought and would be something like this where Lilac was an orphan and she went to the scarves by her own choice but likely because she didn't have a choice and it was the only way to have a roof over her head and food in her belly. As for her being mad at and hating Spade i think they could've made it like this where Spade tricked her into joining a criminal organization and found out he was only using her for only for scarves missions and all that. That's just just my thoughts though.

Not quite. The war happened over a hundred years ago, and the initial annihilation of thousands of water dragons happened even before that.

While i understand and Lilac has the right to be mad and hate Spade after what he did i think she should also understand that if all hasn't happen then there could've been a chance she wouldn't met Carol and probably Milla, well maybe still meet Carol but probably as enemies because she would be a criminal and Lilac not a criminal i don't know

Honestly when you think about the backstory of the water dragons i think it would have been likely that Lilac probably woulf have been killed off with the rest of her people if it weren't for spade taking her egg. But considering that whole event happened years ago it kinda creates a loophole in the story. Because this whole scene would imply that her parents are probably still alive since Lilac was even conceived to begin with. And there was no mention of what even happened to them and Merga being trapped away for several hundred years. So it seems likely that they either hid there eggs in a safe location knowing they would enevitably die or they somehow managed to flee to a different location and start a family this scene also seems to imply from what spade said there was multiple eggs so lilac's siblings could be out there unless they inexplicably died during that mission he was on.

@@speedheat9773 Considering that water dragons are blue colored, and earth dragons are brown...Why is Lilac purple? Makes me think, she's either was conceived to a water and earth dragon couple...Or she's was created in a test tube type stuff.

@@ArioDragon seems posible with the mention of water dragons being the most compatible with other species. For all we know she could be some bio weapon which kinda would explain why Merga and her have the same ability. I hope all of this gets explained in the third game whenever that comes out there seems to be alot of lore surrounding her heritage.
