My friend pass away a little over a week ago. I shared this song with him a few weeks before he died. Told him I was cutting the grass and it just popped into my head, and I had to share it. His response to me after he heard it was simply "Wow, just wow" I screen shot that snap. He was like a brother to not only me but many others. The only band member I will never be able to replace, and never will. So I say thank you for writing this song. To me it will always be for my brother Patrick Tribbey.

This song makes me miss my best friend who died in Iraq back in 2003. We were deployed together and he didn’t make it back. I still struggle with it to this day.

Jesse just said on a recent live stream that he would find it fun to try and rework some songs into an acoustic version that you wouldn’t think necessarily would work as an acoustic. Immediately I thought about how epic Element of One, Self Revolution or My Last Serenade could be as an acoustic song.

Songs like My last serenade are amazing to feel the hype, i think wouldn't be interesting at all to hear them in acoustic, but i could be wrong

Man. First time hearing this version and it's heaven. This song reminds me of my mom. Who committed suicide when I was 16. The heavy one i play when I am just over whelmed by pain i can't breathe. This one I just smiled, cried a little and thought of her 💜💜 thanks guys.

I lost my mom to suicide as well when I was 20. And it’s always reminded me of her. I listen to the heavy one when I’m hurting alone in my car driving around aimlessly and scream and cry. This version made me cry a little but not as much as the heavy one does. I’m sorry for the loss of your mom, and I related so hard to this comment. 💜
