Here I am almost four years after the epic release of this masterpiece and I still get goosebumps when they show Howard’s arm. I grew up listening to Howard as the lead singer and I won’t be a hypocrite, when he left I was pretty sad, as a black kid who was always a huge fan of metal, having Howard as the frontman for one of my favorite bands ever was really inspiring, I’ve always looked up for him. When Jesse came back I didn’t really liked it because I was such a huge fan of Howard, but then they came to Brazil back in 2013 and I got to see Jesse live in action and it blew me away, since then I’m just glad that I lived to see those two metal legends singing for one of my favorite bands. I guess that it is a thought that every KsE fan had ever since the release of this song, but damn… They really should consider bringing Howard back to share the mic with Jesse!

KSE struggled when Jesse Leach came back, & it was weird to see that since he's the orig singer and they were crankin'! But Howard took them to another level, yet the songs became winey and about relationships and loneliness struggles and How had a deeper tone since he's AA. But KSE now is in full stride!! Jesse's lyrical range and powerfull gutteral voice is something only he can deliver,...making them one of my top 3 Metal bands of all time (infinity). Jesse struggles with depression thru ups and downs in life as I do, we take them harder them we want to, but that is us. Others blow things off easier. Howard struggles too. I'm glad to have them in this journey. One big fam..drawing hope and inspiration, flowing, keeping us all going.

This is why I love metal. A band can start with a singer, who leaves after a couple albums, before they really get big. The second singer oversees the bands rise to international fame, singing on their most popular albums and greatest hits..... Then he leaves, and the band return to their original singer, and a couple of albums into his second run, both singers sing on a track and make a video. No animosity, no egos, no hard feelings. They even get off a fistbump halfway through. Metal is about brotherhood.

Just read that this song is a tribute to the issues that Howard experienced with his mental health and diabetes back in 2009-13. His story as the backdrop to this already great track makes it that much greater. Loved that he also teamed with Jesse for this one. Their intensity when doing vocals just resonates with fans in a way that it is hard to describe. Hope they do more tracks like this.
