LYRICS:
It all falls on me. Brings me to my knees
This feeling that’s inside. Where’s the peace that you promised me?
Desolation fills this hollow heart. Seeking all the answers as we drift apart
Where is the light? Where’s the sanctity in this choir of voices that deceive?
In disarray I find a place to come undone
Then all of my anger, all of my pain, bleeds into something I can’t contain
Release me from this moment. Left here with nothing to hold on to
Your voice is still speaking, my vision is clear and through the distance I feel you near
You don’t see me, you can’t hear. My voice left me with nothing, without a choice
Memories of what could have been. Remind me it will never be the same again. It falls on me

+fct4life I love the shoegaze-styled feel of both of those songs, they're both two of my favorites as well. Desperate Times is definitely my favorite of Howard's work with the band, but as for Jesse... this, Embrace the Journey, and The Element of One are my favorites of his.

With all the Killswitch Engage songs I've heard over the years, this one has to be my favorite out of all of them. The way it starts out so strong aggressive you think it's going to be hard song throughout the whole thing, but just as you get that feeling there's going to be an even harder breakdown, instead of getting harder, the song slows down perfectly. It's so catchy to hear that you just want to keep listening to it and it makes me wish that Killswitch had a few more songs like this.

this is what i love about jesse and his lyrics. A lot of his songs are about seeing past the present and how in time we can turn the negatives into positives and see through the darkness. But now and again he goes real deep, real dark. and he writes a song like "It falls on me". which to me feels like he is describing the ruthless and damn right cold, brutal feelings that are felt in a short term or specific moment that we simply can not see past at the time.

Obviously about Jesse's relationship with God... That's pretty awesome though. Too many other bands Bring Me The Horizon, ATR, Asking Alexandria generally always talk shit about God and it's getting stale. Brian Taylor There stating there opinions about religon. If they get offended thats there problem. It's not like they lose any of there fanbase from making a song about there views on religon. You shouldent get offended anyway. No one needs to conform to everybody else just because someone might get "offended". Speak your mind. It's called freedom of speech for a reason. It's an opinion for a reason and if they get buthurt by somones elses opinion well those people can go suck on a thorn bush lol.

Both Jesse and Howard have put out some amazing works.
