Literally just was alerted to this channel by a friend the other day. I have no idea what I'm in for but after putting ~ 20k miles on my GSX1250FA all around the US, down rock faces, through mud, on a track etc... and having now finally ordered crash bars for it, I'm down for this.

Thats gonna look awesome Maybe some yellow scratches into the carbon fiber front fender to make it look like it was originally yellow
@KillswitchQueen3 жыл бұрын
Yes I agree! It still needs something so it's not too clean-looking

First thing that came to my mind, when you mentioned „old cyberpunk“, was a Suzuki Katana. Maybe even a BMW K1. Can‘t wait to see what you’re actually going to build...
@KillswitchQueen3 жыл бұрын
I actually have something from an old Katana I'm going to try and add to the bike!

very cool. I been studying super hard in school (now done, I am now a certified Phlebotomist and certified in CPR, AED, and 1st aid) FINALLY had time to see this! And glad I did. Very cool! Our Queen rules!
@johnjenkins92023 жыл бұрын
So glad Wasteland Wednesdays are back !! That's stressed front end looked really cool but it got even better when you added the metal plate on to the side. What would you think about putting a straight light strip on it that you could also use as a turn signal? Can't wait to see what else you do with it. Catch you in the next video
@KillswitchQueen3 жыл бұрын
Thank you! I have some light strip turn signals, but wasn't sure where they would look best so I installed some different ones. Might be cool to add them anyway!
@fredthebarber3 жыл бұрын
Cool ideas! Since your motorcycle is already yellow, it seems like some worn in caution striping/chevrons would be appropriate. Good luck! Oh, and I am HERE for the snack dancing!
@KillswitchQueen3 жыл бұрын
Thank you! I definitely plan to add the caution style chevrons, just not sure where. I want it to look as natural as possible, without there being too much yellow in a spot. Maybe near the chain? Seems like a good "caution" area!

If that windscreen is polycarbonate, you could use a heat gun to soften it and shape it more the way you want
@KillswitchQueen3 жыл бұрын
I could give it a shot! I've seen videos of people shaping custom plastic wind screens. If I could make the right frame, it would add a nice bubble effect and look more futuristic. Didn't think of trying that. Thank you!

when you first explained what you were going to do I wasn’t able to picture it. then once you pulled it off it made perfect sense, and honestly I think it looks better than the glossy yellow paint. well done! look forward to seeing what else you do to this!
@KillswitchQueen3 жыл бұрын
Thanks so much! It was time for the glossy paint to go. Now we get to distressing and making it look weathered.

Looks dope dude! Wondering if you'll ever make a t-shirt or sticker for sale? Also, is that a ryobi drill press? If so can you tell me the model name? Searched for one forever to matched the rest of my power tools.

Thank you! Check out my Teepublic store, the link to which is in the description. I would like to do some custom tees soon though! And yes! It's just a 10 inch Ryobi drill press, nothing fancy but man is it a time-saver.

You need an agent and to do commercials O. Like the ATT girl with the chest. You have a great kissable face, something people would enjoy seeing in commercials.
