Nice work man, did you take anatomy. Loved sculpting as a kid and want to give it a try again. My question is How thick do you limit your work so it doesn't crack?? Just spent $200 US for a used kiln will be converting to gas and Im making it smaller. They usually run between $3-$700 used.

Great video thank you for loading! Do you ever decorate with underglaze/glazes and then fire again? I'm new to clay and appreciate your time and knowledge - many thanks!

Ive never done the glaze with after the bisque firing. I think what would happen is that it would remove many of the surface details and brushstrokes, and tool marks. But if you watch some of the recent videos you can see ive been doing more intricate painting/staining. I'd like to study faux finishes, i think that might be the way to go for sculpture.

I bet you can find something. But if you look up on youtube there are some people that have built wooden underground firepits for clay firing. You would have to figure out a way of controlling the temp so it slowly heats. But my recommendation is to get take a pottery class, they always have kiln. Espero que te ajudei. Sou Portugues :)
