Love the ocean themed mugs and the pinkish bowls. You look sun kissed! I hope your weather is a lot nicer than Newfoundland, we have had rain, drizzle and fog for the last 2 months with only 3 days of sun in what seems like forever!

We have had some sunny days here and there. Definitely not full on summer yet but hopefully getting there. Spring sounds tough in Newfoundland!

Oh my aren’t we all addicted to glazes😂. I visited an actual pottery supply store in person for the first time a few weeks ago. I was like a kid in a candy store lol. Hope all is well Nat. Thanks for watching!

I really love the ocean-y ones! So complex, beautiful and magical. I never heard anyone pronounce decal like you do. We always say Dee-Cal here. :)

Nice Glazing Combos Im trying your 2 coats of honey flux and river birch on a bowl with a peacock design, with winter wood on outside lower portion to catch the drips . Can't Wait to fire it . The second fire on your oil pour looks great you really know how to make those glazes work for you. Thank you ! and keep those videos going🥰

Thanks! They do have nice transfers. I haven’t ordered from them yet. Good to know they work well 😊

Lisa. I think you are wonderful! Thanks for all the kiln unloads.You are helping me! However I think the underglaze transfers are pronounced deecals...rather than deckals.Just a thought...

I actually did a mini survey lol. Not sure if its Canadian or Atlantic Canadian but it’s how we pronounce it. Thanks for watching

As always beautiful pieces. To add, you like fabulous, have you been out in the garden getting some sunshine 🌞? Always nice to see you glaze combinations. How do you remember all the glazes combinations? Happy potting

Hi Evelyn, you are too sweet. I think I’m one of the few potters out there who doesn’t garden lol. But I walk and bike lots 😊 I don’t always remember combos but after a while you can start to easily recognize some glazes 😊. Thanks so much for watching !

@@finklepottery704 great stuff. Walking is my favourite, nothing beats a nice brisk walk to warm up in the cooler weather. I could tell you've been out getting fresh air from your sun-kissed cheeks. Happy potting

Darn I missed your live!! These combinations are amaaazing!! My gosh you do such amazing work. May I ask if you overlapped the sangria with the red wine glaze or did you leave an area at the top without any red wine? Thanks so much. I agree with the refire on the oil bottle. Just spectacular!! I rewatched it. Sorry. You said you overlapped! Thanks. May I ask though on the blue mugs that you missed a bit of the glazing what glazes did you use?? Sorry to be such a pain but im glazing now and want to use your combos. Thanks again.

No worries! If you mean the fox mugs it was coyote turquoise lake on top and power turquoise on the bottom. Happy glazing!

Hi it can vary but typically 5-6lbs for the ones in this video.

What clay body do you mostly use ?
@finklepottery704Ай бұрын
Usually tuckers mid smooth stone. They have a smooth red I also use. Occasionally mid smooth speck. I have also used white stoneware from psh with good results. Always stoneware, never porcelain .
