Never done drugs in my life and been a raver for years, only wish i was old enough in 92 93, the music was banging
@DjNikGnashers4 ай бұрын
@uktowers2047 I'm 55, and was a BBoy in 82-86, then in 87' I discovered the Acid House scene just developing. I dived head first in, I had already been taking most none class A drugs, but from 87-89 I was out almost every weekend. Then I carried on in 89-93 with the rave era, and took even more, staying out even more. I stopped taking any drugs, stopped smoking resin/weed, stopped smoking altogether in fact, in the late 90's, as the scene had run it's course. The criminal justice bill killed the rave scene in 94, only people who were old enough to remember this will know the truth, and all that was left, were separate scenes such as Jungle, DnB, HHC, which were completely different, and commercial, organised, money-making events, and the true spirit of everyone from all sections of life coming together and dancing to different types of music, had disappeared. Trance came in the mid 90's, which wasn't really an underground thing, more of a commercial sound. I haven't suffered any consequences of my years of staying up for 2 or 3 nights in a row, and taking lots of haliucinogenic drugs, and smoking a lot of resin (weed wasn't that popular back then), and I have lived a very decent, stable, family life since, and feel blessed that I was a part of something so special, so life-changing, something so magical that will never happen again. There were no 'raves' after 1994, and anyone who says there were, is too young to remember 'actual' raves, and doesn't understand. A legal, organised, club or festival playing modern dance music is NOT a rave, and only those who were there in the real rave scene know.

The word secret isn't a proper noun or place name or at the start of the sentence so it doesn't need an incorrect upper-case s.

What was Starmer trying to say? Was he saying the police were cracking down too much?
@Rosie197014 ай бұрын
We never got to hear what he wanted to say because Kilroy was desperate to find out whether or not he had been to a rave. 😡

@@Rosie19701 Exactly. What a load of nonesense. Starmer should have stuck to the point though instead of allowing himself to be distracted and smiling. He should have shut Kilroy down
