Wassup, Everybody! I know it's been a while since I'll posted and a lot of things have changed in my life since then. I just landed the gig of my life playing with one of Dallas premiere cover bands "Empire 6"! Make sure you like our Facebook page ( / e6band . That's the best way to keep with where I'm playing these days. But enough of that....
The reason I decided to cover this song as my first drum video of 2014 is because I wanted to get back to my roots this year. I started playing in church at a young age and still do till this day. Hey Kenneth, see you've been really busy but I hope you can get some time to answer my question. I really dig the sound you get from those Yamaha Stage Customs. I have the same type as the red tom. How do you achieve that sound through the mic and eq process? I have a show in 2 months and I will like to recommend some stuff to the engineers because they make the kit sound like I'm playing 14, 15, 18, sized toms. Everything is just low with no tone. What would you advise? Thanks a million
