This drama was so beautifully heartwarming and so realistic. The way they have grown in those 10 years, came so far, doing what they’ve wanted to do with their lives was so delightful to watch. To be honest, Our Beloved Summer is the best drama that I’ve watched so far. It’s not purely, RomCom. But, touches almost all the aspects of life. I also love the fact that they did not leave us hanging like, the “I love you” that we never heard up until the last episode. Choi Ung finally draw a person. The color of their shoes during their first kiss. (If you know what I mean)… I mean all of the scenes become so memorable because the pacing of the story is good and every question in this drama was slowly and beautifully answered. Anyways, the point is this is not your typical drama , plus it’s in touch with reality.

You can tell from her reaction to his drawing that she understood perfectly what his drawing of her meant, what it meant for how he expressed his love for her. Wow the layers in the writing, the acting, this was a spectacular story even if the premise seems simple. How beautifully made. Real love is like this.

Yeonsu was Ung's first muse - both literally and figuratively. Among what appeared to be "dull" and "lifeless" drawings of buildings is a sole portrait of Yeonsu, whom Ung has cherished for the longest time. His drawing of when he first saw Yeonsu tells us how even the most seemingly insignificant encounters could make a lasting impression on another person. They were each other's first and last love, and they stayed strong throughout the seasons. Although life wasn't kind to them in the 10 summers they were apart, the universe redeemed itself a thousand-fold with a lifetime of beloved summers together. A very well-written drama. This will always be a favorite. 🤍

I can't even tell how beautiful this scene is. This is probably my fav scene of whole drama. It stole my heart completely. As we know he drew building cause people are temporary in life but he drew yeon su cause he knew she was the permanent one in his life. This scene is just uhhhh i can't even tell in words. The moment I yeon su snached the book and saw her sketch in the book i was swooned at that right moment. Gonna miss this drama. No doubt one of the best drama have watched till now. From a man who didn't want to draw people because he wanted to share solitude with things that didn't change to drawing what he treasures most. And Yeonsoo finally opening up and accepting the love of those around her. So smooth again with the dialogue and drawing in the same book they borrowed when they were young. Makes all the growth before it even more satisfying and I'm still having withdrawals knowing that I won't be able so see any more moments like this. Their wave at the end to us was like loving parents encouraging us to go out in the world and find something else to like. I know it'll happen eventually but for now I'll continue missing them 🥺

For a moment I expected a wedding ring in the book but no, it was something even better and much more surprising!🥺❤️ For me it’s the sweetest proposal in a kdrama yet (especially as an artist😭❤️) Can we talk about their journey? They had to overcome so much, growing up, breaking up, overcoming their biggest fears, finding themselves and their worth, long distance, and finally finding their way back to eachother in the end. But what’s so sweet is that it was always them in the end, they only had eyes and their heart for eachother. Deep inside they still hoped for one another. “I’m the only one for you” 😭❤️ Will miss these two, but I’ll stay in this year with them as well, because I won’t get tired of rewatching this beautiful story. The vibe of the OST in Our Beloved Summer sets the tone of the drama💜💜💜 It reels you into the emotion of the characters😍 The plot/storyline is by far simple. What makes this Kdrama great is that you have exceptional actors portraying and bringing life into the characters. As a viewer, I felt the pain of Yeon Su, I am happy when Woong is happy and giddy Thank heavens that this is on NETFLIX and I can always come back to watch👀 Hope there would be future projects on NETFLIX for both Choi Woo Shik and Kim Da Mi.
