Kim Jong-un pays tribute at Kumsusan Palace to mark anniversary of late grandfather's death

North Korean leader Kim Jong-un has visited the Kumsusan Palace of the Sun to mark the anniversary of the death of his late grandfather Kim Il-sung, dismissing rumors about his health.
The regime's state media reported Thursday that Kim was accompanied by members of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party, as well as his sister Kim Yo-jong.
Speculation has been rife this week that the young leader had lost consciousness due to ill-health and that there had been a coup within the state that pushed him from power.
Seoul's National Intelligence Service quashed the rumors on Wednesday saying that Kim is believed to be handling state affairs "normally."
