Kim Junghyun Shin Hyesun 2021 Princess Hours Remake EP01

With the King falling ill and the imperial family's lineage in jeopardy, their survival into the 21st century fell upon the shoulder of 18 year-old Crown Prince Lee Shin (Kim Jung-hyun). A Crown Princess has been chosen by the late King Sungjo through a promise he had made with his one true friend. The heir to the throne is engaged to his friend's granddaughter, none other than the lively and cheerful Shin Chae-kyung (Shin Hye-sun). Although adamant to accept her family's decision to accept the engagement, Shin Chae-kyung believes it was a sacrifice to ensure the livelihood of her parents and brother who were struggling to meet ends meet as a working class family.

Is it obvious that I miss JungHye a little too much? With all the drama surrounding Mr. Queen's writer/cast I think all of us need a little escapism. Princess Hours/Goong (2006) has remained one of my favorite dramas of ALL TIMES. I hope you enjoyed this reimagining.
