First of all, I LOVE Kim. When I was young, at first I didn't know her name, I knew her as "the girl who sings We Are One" and then when she recorded "For The Good Of Them " she became "THAT'S THE SAME GIRL WHO SANG WE ARE ONE!!!" (her voice is unmistakable). After that, I learned her name from the album credits...And then one night I was SLEEP and I heard a song in my sleep (I always slept with the gospel station on) and I WOKE MYSELF UP out of my sleep yelling "That's Kim McFarland!!!" The song was "I Tried Him And I Know Him" and I will never forget that first time hearing it ...Kim Mcfarland's voice BLESSED my childhood. I smile every time I hear her name.

Kim is my TOP GOSPEL SINGER STILL...TO THIS DAY!!!!!!!! I REALLY enjoyed this INTERVIEW because I wondered where she had GONE or what she was DOING now. This is CLOSURE to that MYSTERY.

I had to figure out who was the girl who led For the Love Them.... you helped me lived a saved life as a teenager... only saved teenager committed to God in my church and in my circle... in Detroit... as an only child... unchurched household... who attended one of the most infamous high schools in the city: Cooley High on the West Side of Detroit. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU. God has now delivered me from religion, but the little in girl will never forget you.
