Kim Richards has been placed on a Psychiatric Hold. Well, she was placed on a Psychiatric Hold earlier this month. Just relieved Kyle, Kathy and Kim’s children are united in not enabling her. I just hope it is just a booze issue and opioids etc, She was sober once and she will be again. I love the rain too and an overcast day, ☔💙

I have to agree with you!! Even when she claimed that she was in sobriety… she just didn’t seem to show it in her actions (or personality). It’s never fair to challenge someone’s sobriety… It’s ultimately within themselves. I just had a similar feeling. I truly wish her well… She’s struggled for so long 🫶

@@shondawakefield1322 totally agree,shonda. Her lifestyle, family system issues…all feed her emotional instability. If her family has deserted her AGAIN this is bad…very bad…long term treatment…a yr or more…immersed in a program…they can afford to send her.💕

Agreed! I've struggled in my early twenties and what I think saved me is that I was never in denial about what I was doing. I honestly think Kim doesn't consider herself any type of addict which makes dealing with the problem impossible. I was truly shocked when Kim admitted she had never watched the show. I thought wow that would have been a great place to start. If she would see and acknowledge how awful she is to others her eyes should open. But she can't because it's "too painful" I understand a lot about trauma so I understand very well that she considers herself a victim. And she probably is originating from her childhood. And it would be great to start mending that, if nothing else because that's the core of this whole addiction.

I was just reading up on her a few weeks ago for some reason. Apparently Kim was born on Long Island in Mineola, but I'm not sure if she grew up here. I'm from LI and on LI again now, too. I remember her for Escape From Witch Mountain among other things. She was also in Nanny and The Professor. I hope she gets back on track soon. I always got her confused for some reason with the girl who played Holly on Land of the Lost, Kathy Coleman. She's also had her ups and downs, but she put out a book a few years ago and continues to appear at fan Conventions, etc. I think Kim's also done the Con. circuit as well.

I feel so bad for Kim, addiction is a disease, however I can’t help but wonder, that maybe Kim’s pain comes from something much deeper and darker that possibly happened to her as a kid while working as a child actor. Considering what we know today about the deviants and powerful people who run Hollywood, maybe Kim’s trauma stems from something like that. Just speculation on my end

If you listen to the blind items (which seem accurate in this case).... Kim suffered extreme abuse as a child actress and a lot of it sexual. it was pretty bad. She got much more than Kyle, because Kim was more successful and basically supported the family for years. I don't understand why they adore their mother so much, given all of the things their mother allowed for Kim to tolerate. And all for money! It's awful.

Kathy is dead wrong for letting this happen, and so are Kim's children. I would be beyond infuriated if my aunt did something like this to my mom. Kyle barely gets along with Kim, so she should've called her sister's children to fill them in and let them make the decision about putting Kim in the line of fire to go under a 51/50.

Poor kim. It's just that she needs tough love. That's what is advised. It's the toughest thing to do. To not be an enabler. You have to be strong. To turn away a loved one. But it's the right thing to do
