Whichever design you choose to do, I believe it would be beautiful. I personally like option B because it makes a modern quilt with a quirky kind of feel. I am excited to see what you do with it!

I am still new to quilting. I always learn something new watching you two. What pattern is that quilt hanging behind you? Thank you ladies!

That is the Alaska Quilt by Laundry Basket Quilts. We just finished a four part series on the quilt hanging and then Kim will have a 3 part series on her.

I enjoying watching and learning from your videos, but I have a question about how you use some of these quilts. The one quilt I did with a lot of custom quilting (all free motion, I don't have pro-stitcher on my Simply Sixteen) is not very snuggly. My mom uses it to drape over a sofa for show, but never covers up with that quilt. She much prefers using the quilts I quilt edge to edge. I see you need to do a lot a custom quilting, etc. for educational reasons, but do ya'll always do so much quilting on your utility, snuggly, day to day, quilts?

For our utility quilts, we don't do very dense quilting!! Usually an edge to edge or just a basic custom.

Is there a tute showing how to bring a picture of a quilt and to wok with in in designer? I want to try that and can't find directions.
