For those who disliked the ending, this is reality. Nobody is ever able to say a proper goodbye. Nobody is ever able to finish a bucket list. Because no one knows when it’s their time to go!! Yuri was blessed enough to come back and finish everything off on a good note to officially move on from her life. That in itself is probably the best ending this drama could’ve went for.

This drama series has touched my heart in so many ways with Yuri's selflessness, her love for Gang Hwa and Seo Woo, her family's love for her, Hyun Jeong and Keun Sang's loyalty, Min-Jeong's kindness, the other ghosts' love for their family and Mi-Dong's compassion. I think i can never watch a video from this drama without getting teary eyed 😢

The ending is actually a happy ending. No one can escape from death, if that day finally come, no one can reject it. God give her a chance to say goodbye and then go to heaven. That make every one bounded with her not to too sad about her death and all have a new life.

I was sobbing the whole time especially while watching the last episode.(Yung napapahagulgul na ako ng isang oras..😭😭😭).The series has tackled almost all the essential things in life.I can truly relate because I am a daughter, a wife, a parent, a friend,and most of all because I am a Mama.. I can’t even think about this show without tearing up the ending is SO SAD. I wanted her to live so bad and then the way that seo woo, min jeong, and gang hwa just walk together down the cherry blossom tree path is so amazing but so sad at the same time. It’s been over a year now since I’ve last watched this drama that made me cry each week and now I’m rewatching it again. This time it’s different. My friend who I cherish and consider as my sister, passed away not too long ago. We’ve watched so many kdramas together and this drama was by far, our favourite. I didn’t think that I’ll be able to relate so much to Yuri’s family now. Not letting go of the loss and also wanting the dead loved one to come back even just for a moment. Just for a moment to properly say goodbye. Everything just went too quickly. She was still so young, so many to achieve. And yet, she wasn’t given a chance to experience the life she always wanted. I miss you. I truly miss you.

My first issue with the show is that it was inaccurately advertised. They advertised it as a comedy when in fact this is a very depressing melodrama. Secondly, and most importantly, yuri really did not have to die. Even if her daughter saw ghosts for the rest of her life, it would not have been that big of a deal. Since both Yuri and the daughter saw ghosts, they could have figured out a way for them to fight them off together. And it wasn’t 100% that the daughter would see ghosts for the rest of her life, it was just a possibility. I feel like Yuri didn’t really understand that nothing can replace a mother’s love (and of course the daughter would gravitate towards the woman she’s known her whole life, she needed time with yuri to see her as a mother), even if the stepmother did love the daughter a lot. I just feel like yuri gave up (she could never stop feeling guilty to utilize this opportunity to its fullest) and I’m very disappointed in this ending.

I think the story is mainly drama. You can even tell that from the title that it would be a sad ending. Many people keep saying that the ending is not acceptable. Imagine if Yuri lived everything would be more complicated because in the first place is already dead. I just wonder how can you say that she should live and fight the way to see ghost with her daughter. Ofcourse Yuri wanted her daughter to live a normal life to be what she wants. You even questioned her mothers love 😶😶😶😶. This is the reality. Not all have a good ending. You should watch satisfying ending instead. There are many kdramas that is more painful ending than this. The ending is actually good she can now say goodbye to her family, friends, husband and her daughter Seo-woo. Yuri can leave the world peacefully too. (not all can say goodbye especially to those who have tragic death)

Panda Terius So I finally had a chance to ask my mom what she would do in the is scenario, and she didn’t even take one second to say she would go back. I think you’re right, I am too young. Mothers think differently. My mom said that even if there is a 0.1% chance that the daughter would continue to see ghosts, she would give up her life in a heartbeat because every mother wishes for their child to live a happy normal life. Maybe I’ll watch the drama again when I have kids.
