I'm impressed with Vidal also. At the Combine his height was a bit under 5-8. But he weighed in at 213 lbs. That's 18 lbs heavier than Austin Ekeler. He also ran a 4.46 40, which while not elite, is still fast enough to out-run DBs if he gets to the 3rd level. LT came into the league after running the 40 in 4.43 at the 2001 Combine. If you watch Vidal, he has elite burst, which is going to be his best asset. He can hit a hole and hit the second level before the defense has time to react. The OL the Chargers are going to field in 2024 *should* be able to open holes in the run game. He was sensational at Troy against Sunbelt Conference talent. It remains to be seen if he can transfer that success to the NFL against pro defenses, but I think has the juice to be successful. We'll see soon enough.

Great analysis, it’s crazy to think the Bolts got the 2nd ranked RB by PFF in the 6th round ⚡️

I see Vidal being the Pacheco of the Chargers. Strong runner, wearing down the defense. Not quite as strong, but has a little bit more wiggle to him.

Dude is literally ray rice 2.0 (without the off the field actions of course) Same height and weight. Quick feet and excellent vision. Ray rice also had that ability to ware down defenses late with that shorter stocky frame. Don’t sleep on this young man!!⚡️⚡️

Been huge on Kimani Vidal as well.... I would love to see him take on that lead back roll. Cant wait to see what everyone looks like at practice once pads are on.

Solid video….Gus is now in IR & looks like Vidal is playing above Hassan as JK’s backup…he also caught his first TD last wk! He does remind me of Frank Gore w/the Niners w/his versatility & running style! No wonder Harbs drafted him!

I'm with you on how many games we'll get out of JK. To me I didn't think it was a good singing at all! Like a lot of people I'd never heard of Vidal until we drafted him. The more tape I watch if him the more I'm liking him. He's the perfect fit for our offense. But if only gets 10 or less carries a game that won't help him or the team at all. I can't wait to watch him play! BOLT UP!! ANOTHER great show Michael, thanks bro!

Hey Michael, I hope you're right about Vidal but I'd really like to see what Spiller can do. Don't know why the previous regime never gave him a chance (perhaps passpro) but they did a lot if things that that defied logic. Check out Spiller's highlights against much better competition.

6th round pick for a reason.. does he have the intangibles, how was he coached and made to play, is he helping the offense every play he is on the field, i.e. pass block, not giving away plays, making desicive adjustments?

I kind of knew that Gus and JK weren't going to be our answers at RB when we signed them. I mean look we're not even into training camp and Gus is already hurt!! WTH!! I'm really hoping that we sign another RB either before training camp or definitely soon after. I don't think there's anyway we're going to have both Gus and JK for the whole season. Spiller isn't the answer either. He's been trash since we signed him! Vidal is most likely going to be playing a lot this yr. Which is fine.
@tylergaudreau277 ай бұрын
Michael you need to relax with the injury concerns for Dobbins & Edwards there simply just resting up until training camp we didn’t need them out there for anything just yet

I knew when we were talking about signing Gus and JK that it'd be a terrible move! Look, we're not even in training camp and Gus is ALREADY injured!! I don't think it'll be long before JK gets hurt and put on the IR list for the yr! Look at ALL of the other RB'S that we could've/ should've signed! Henry, Barkley, Jacobs. Just to name a few. We end up with the Raven's scraps that THEY didn't even want!! It's going to be hard as all heck to have the kind of RB room that Jim and Joe wanted with these two! It's not like I just started thinking about this, because I've been thinking about it before we even signed these 2 walking IR kings!! Ugggghhh so damn frustrating. So much for stopping the Chargering!
