The look on Aaron's face when Jerry told him it would be his fault if Jackson died was heartbreaking. He just looked so vulnerable and lost - I've never seen pain like it. Danny Miller's performance was beyond words.

Even though we didn't actually see him at the hospital I'm glad they said Adam was there, soap friendships are so easily forgotten about it's nice to know Aaron and Jackson still have the kind of friendship where you'll get a taxi to a hospital in the middle of the night to be there

After what he's done? I'm sorry Jerry but what exactly did Aaron do? Nothing, that's what! This was not his fault. Aaron sometimes is at fault for some things, losing his temper and hitting someone, hiding facts about things he shouldn't, sometimes stealing, etc. but this is not one of those things that he is at fault. This was just what everyone is saying, an ACCIDENT! Jackson chose to either answer that phone, to look down at it, or to let it ring. He chose to drive off in that van while he was upset. Aaron did not do anything to cause this accident. He didn't cut the brakes, or grab the wheel while Jackson was driving, or fight with him in the van while he was driving, or spike his drink so Jackson would pass out while he was driving, nothing. Aaron is not to blame for this. So just shut up Jerry and fuck off! It's not like you've been much of a dad to Jackson recently anyway, not since he came out and you hit him. What right do you have to drop back into his life now and start calling the shots. What, just because you are his bio dad! As Aaron can attest to from experience with his own dad, just because you share DNA doesn't make you a good parent. And he should know.

Emmerdale has been awsome this week. I have been waiting for a while for the show to bring something interesting again. My hat goes off to the writers they wrote an excellent storyline. I am happy they are letting Jackson and Aaron show affection toward each other and express emotion. This week has been so juicy and I cannot waite until next week to see more.

When people are in grief, most play the blaming-game. Even Chaz and Paddy had that argument when Aaron was in coma right after trying to commit suicide. It's a common emotion for those who can't handle the grief or guilt.

It's definitely not Aaron's fault that Jackson was in the accident. People receive calls on their cell phones all the time while driving. No one is forced to answer any call. In fact, many jurisdictions now make it illegal to use cell phones while driving. Aaron may FEEL responsible because of the argument and his subsequent call but that doesn't make him responsible. Jackson's father is a real piece of work. He's probably really good at blaming everyone else for his own shortcomings.

I can see Hazel corning Aaron in the village and saying I want you there because Jackson would want you there. I can see Hazel literally dragging Aaron in to visit Jackson. Aaron loves Jackson, he just thinks he's bad and thinks the best thing for Jackson is for him to stay away.

Yes Jackson could have let the phone ring Aaron shouldn't have called no matter how you look at it. it happened. jsut the same. Now for us to look at this.. we have to move on and hope for the best. Jerry will look at it as it is Aarons fault aaron will see it that way as well. while Jackson when he wakes( hope and pray he does) will see it as his fault.. so the thing they have to do is move on

Aaron Has Shown Everyone In The Last 2 Days That He Is Madly In Love With Jackson. Those Tears Are Not For Nothing. Letting His NO GOOD Father Control Him Using His Emotions Shows That All He Wants Is For Jackson To Live And To Be Happy.

And being angry at Aaron is him just taking his anger and frustrations out on someone because by blaming him he's taking the easy way out. I think he's anger runs a lot deeper than just the crash.

Paddy is a good father, he's always there for Aaron despite Aaron is treating him bad and don't listen to him. Oh how I hate that Aaron is blaming himself, even though I knew it was inevitable. Jackson's dad is an idiot. I wanted to be there to stop Aaron from leaving at the end. Paddy is so right. Jackson needs him. I want Aaron in that room at Jackson's bedside. Jackson needs to know that Aaron is there to support and that Aaron does indeed love him, he simply can't say the words. Jackson's dad is horrible. I get that he loves his son (even though he's homophobic), but taking it out on Aaron is just harsh. And when he was blaming him for everything...the look on Aaron's face (Danny Miller's a star)...broke my heart again. Oh, Aaron...he's already so insecure that being blamed isn't going to do him any favours. And Jackson lying there not waking up is like kicking my already broken heart.

Jackson's father was horrible to Aaron. I wonder how him and others will react if and when they find out the truth about how Jackson's car was hit by the train. The way I see it, the phone call distracted Jackson for the first collision, but the train hitting him was because of where his car landed...

Does anyone else feel that this is a bit of a continuity error? Back in April, J told A that when he told his parents he was gay, "nothing" happened, they just want him to be happy. Now they bring in his dad and he is anything but accepting??? Just seems like they only decided later on to show more of J's background and forgot about that initial conversation.

I do agree with everyone that Jackson's father is a real tool but something tells me he does love his son, he just can't get his mind around the fact that his son is gay. His inabiblity to do that has caused not only a rift between him and Jackson but between him and his wife as well, for she was able to love Jackson for who he is not for what she wanted him to be unlike his father.

My first comment to this soap: OK, maybe I'm so new to this story that I can't really understand, but... for what I can remember, I didn't even know Jackson had a father somewhere till this... Mr-Who-The-Hell-Are-You didn't come at the hospital claiming he's a father (really? Interesting!) and he's the only one who can understand how painful is seeing his son lying in that bed (yeah, du, because his boyfriend is just not giving a toss, huh?!), am I wrong? I know this is a year old but it (originally) stood for 'Council Housed And Violent' - people who live in working class homes they don't personally own and who are angry / violent / disrespectful. But like a lot of words it evolved to encompass people who wear track suits, have big scary dogs, and are rude and aggressive with a bad attitude
