How are you enjoying the Sharpie art markers? The white one seemed to cover the black lines well.

I only have a Sharpie white paint pen… but it works quite well! They used to make one with an extra fine tip which was my absolute favorite but they discontinued it. 🧡☺️

Hi, do you have any tips for color blending and pigment?

It can be done a couple different ways depending on the pencils you’re using or whichever technique you prefer. For harder lead pencils I find it’s easier to layer colors up softly and slowly… since I’m impatient I tend to not do this one. I use Prismacolors a lot since they have a lot of colors and strong pigment. It’s easier for me to start a bit heavy handed and build up from the shadows and since they’re waxy they can blend quite easily. You can use multiple shades of the same color all the way to white or you can use different colors in the shadows and highlights to add more interest, totally up to you. In the end it’s all about experimenting and finding what works best for you. When I color I often have a scrap piece of paper nearby to test colors… just in case! 😜🧡
