Did you do the two bug blocks? 😄 Thanks for this. It was very informative. Thankfully I was able to skip through the stitching! Why muslin?? Enquiring minds (me!) are very curious. I will be watching more. I’ve enquired of my dealer the cost of the (BL) hoop.

Muslin is great as a base when there's batting and background fabric that is stabilized with Shapeflex SF101. I like it because it feels softer and less plasticky and I think it presses out better than with no show mesh.

If it’s raw edge the instructions say don’t put the 101 on because it might show the white through the decorative stitches🎉

I heard you say you are using muslin for the stabilizer. There are so many weight of muslin. Can you give a bit more info about that please.

Sorry. I just looked at the listing and there's nothing as to the weight. It's just what we carry in the store. I would call it medium weight. Not too light and not too heavy. It's just right.
