Kimberley & Pilbara - Eighty Mile Beach, into the Pilbara, Coongan Long Pool & Hamersley Gorge

Well, it is time to turn South.
Leaving Dampier Peninsula we travel to the beautiful sunsets of Eighty Mile Beach. Then, taking the Shay Gap Road, we see our first glimpses of the Pilbara landscapes.
One of our favourite campsites at Coongan Long Pool warrants a relaxing three night stay to explore before the run down to Hamersley Gorge for a night.
