1. Not using enough water 2. Not getting those roots 3. Perfect combos (the wrong combo can cause flakes, hella shrinkage, etc. Find the combos that gives you the results that you want) 4. Your method (shingling method makes your wash and go last longer) 5. Know your porosity (how your hair retains moisture) 6. Shape your hair to compliment your face 7. Trim your ends 8. Dry your hair properly (sitting under a hooded dry is best. Manipulation causes frizz) Find the best drying method for your hair 9. Get a solid routine (from shampooing to styling) 10. Practice makes perfect

Life Is GRAND I have been wondering about shower vs kitchen sink lol. What do you find to be the difference?
@cahierdepluie9590
@cahierdepluie9590 4 жыл бұрын
@@gabrieladu352 you didn't get a response but I wanna try and help!! Now the sink works fine if you're really in a rush. Furthermore, if you have very short hair it's very easy and you're good, but it's still more taxing then the shower since you have to bend and the water from the tap covers less hair then the water from the shower. Shower is THE BEST! VERY EASY TO saturate the hair and then apply product straight after. Since you're standing and the water covers more of your head time flys, super fast and it's very comfortable because your back is straight up. Conclusion: always shower, but if you are patient and don't mind having back pain then the sink works fine too. Plus you save more water via sink so that is. A pro! 💛

👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽...I finally have my wash n gos down pat that last 6/7 days, it’s so great not having to do my hair every day. I use a hooded dryer to dry my hair after styling, for 1 hour... and it really does help set the style. I diffuse a little bit if there’s any wetness after sitting under the dryer. Then I stretch it bending over night, then in the morning it’s so shiny and bouncy. Don’t go to bed with any wet or damp wash n go hair, that will mess it up. The hair needs to be completely dry before you stretch it! I don’t even refresh my hair until like day 5, it’s taken be almost 2 years to get my hair on the right track but I’m finally there... if y’all have any questions ask me because I’m sure I can help

Please help me get to a base that I can alter for myself for my wash and gos. I just started doing that and I do not have a good leave in, styler or gel. Hi Kimberly, You gave some really good tips but my concern is actually knowing how to do a wash and go. I've literally only done two wash and go's when i first went natural in 2013 with Camille Rose Curl Maker. Since my hair has gotten longer so the products have changed and so has my curl pattern. So I've literally given up on the wash and go's but I want to tey them again at some point.💙
