Hi loves! Hope you're having a chilled Saturday? This video shows the step by step process of sewing a sleeveless romper with a two piece collar, button up top front, elasticated waistline and turn-up hem detail. I don't think I did the turn-up right 🙈I tried, but I would appreciate anyone who knows to kindly share the right way below. Thanks...

Kim Dave hi Kim! I love your tutorials! I’m a beginner so you make it SUPER easy to follow. Small question for you, how come you don’t line any of your pieces like they do in the traditional method that Africans from the continent use? If possible can you do a tutorial on how to line Ankara fabrics?!? Thank you and keep up the great work!

Lovely romper..thumbs up Kim!!

Lovely romper! And detailed information as usual.. My two cents: To prevent that struggle with wearing; using same measurement for hips and waist at drafting since the elastic will scrunch it up to fit at the waist after sewing. Or a longer placket or upper bodice as you stated. Cheers

I really enjoy your tutorials and it gives me a deeper understanding of how garments are constructed and how to put them together and I really wanna thank you for that. On that note I would have a suggestion. Maybe french seams would be a good alternative for sewing a zig-zag stitch along the seam. I think that would look neater and maybe a little more professional or maybe that's just me. I cannot see raw edges ( even when they are zig-zagged) in a garment XD. Happy sewing :)

Hi Kim, great tutorial. The method I use for cutting my buttonholes , I put a straight pin at the far end of my buttonhole (on the inside of satin stitch) then with my seam ripper (unpicker) I insert it and it just slides through the fabric and the pin stops you from going too far at the end. Hope that makes sense. Have a great weekend. Val🇨🇦🇬🇧
