The more she is able to access, the more her human side disappears and emotion evaporates. She becomes almost robotic. It's not how the script is written. It's the way the character actually becomes the stronger she gets.

@Tiniest Violin yeah I know when did I say it wasn’t a movie? All I said is to me it sounds so pretentious about this dumb deep stuff, and then be based of a myth. If that was just it that’s fine, but what makes it better is that it’s such a common myth it’s likely the creators even thought the percentage thing was true. It’s a fine movie, but it’s just a bit funny. I know it’s a movie cause if it wasn’t I wouldn’t be watching a clip of it. Never said it was bad film just a pretty ironic film.

You make it seem as if noone during production knew that. You make it seem as though you are the only person on the internet to read the 5000000 articles that debunk that myth. You make it seem as though this was marketed as a nonfictional documentary. Thank you, Oh wise Sage. Without your guidance, we would have thought this sci fi movie about a woman's mind evolving to literally manipulate reality was real. But I bet you had no problem with all the BS science tech in Avengers, or their butchering of time, space, and physics with Endgame's time travel. That was fine. But movies like this are called "unrealistic" and, "pretentious." This is precisely why American cinema is the way it is.

technically it's true we only use a small percentage of our brain, because the majority of brain function is dedicated to automata which are technically not under our direct, conscious control. basically this movie is the "you are now breathing manually" meme.

We are taught everything is "countable" and thus perceive the universe is a countable one. Had we be taught differently, we may interpret the universe in a way very close to what lucy trying to explain. Afterall, the measurable units are built on the fact we must rely on language to communicate. If we found another way, the universe could be defined very differently.

Correct, we do regularly use 100% of our brain. The idea we use only 10% is a myth probably started by school teachers. Knowledge stored in the brains's cortex is not a "quantity" that fills up like water in a cup or data on a hard drive. Rather every thought, memory or bit of knowledge is a series of patterns created by 25 billion cross communicating neurons. The pattern possibilties of that many firing neurons are almost endless, therefore the storage potential of the human brain is close to limitless. Our brain capacity may not be infinite but it is so unimaginably large that for practical purposes can be considered limitless.

@@arielfetters5662 nope, as i said, they are "ongoing state", or you can call it with other similar terms, "changing process", "changing states", etc. we grow not because of time, we just grow, out of so many factors, mostly chemical and biological reactions, until the day it ceases to work properly and die, but "time" is not among those factors. let's say you are 20 years old by time measurement. in a longer form, you can say that "my body is like this after i grow up to 20 years", when you show a photo of yourself at 7 years old, you can say "that's the state/growth of my body when i lived for 7 years". so "time" is just a mean of measurement of certain state or condition.

Truth in existence: 1. absolute motion and absolute rest do exists in “straight line time” 2. there is NO absolute motion and absolute rest exists in “cyclic time” 3. there is no frame of reference exists in “straight line time” that’s why there is absolute motion and absolute rest 4. there is frame of reference exists in “cyclic time” which mean there is NO absolute motion and absolute rest exists rather everything is relative which means motion and rest are relative to each other 5. we don’t have the capability to understand “straight line time”, meaning of NO frame of reference, absolute motion, absolute rest BUT we do have FULL capability to understand “cyclic time”, meaning of frame of reference, relative motion, relative rest 6. there is a “link” between “straight line time” to “cyclic time” and vice versa mean there is a WAY or PATH through which infinite ♾ connects to finite and vice versa 7. this link or way or path will ONLY be opened or appeared when someone is at “middle path” of all four dimensions (body, emotion, mind, soul) 8. we can’t stay or be at “middle-path” until we understand the nature of “cyclic time” means we need to know and understand FIRST our four dimensions (body, emotion, mind, soul)...these four dimensions spilt into 12 (3 for each dimensions- one at middle, one at positive extreme and one at negative stream) 9. in cyclic time there are only two directions- “inward” and “outward”. Each of directions have “12” (3x4) dimensions which mean in totality there are 24 dimensions exists in “cyclic time” 10. there are 4 inward dimensions at middle, 4 inward dimensions at positive extreme, 4 inward dimensions at negative extreme 11. there are 4 outward dimensions at middle, 4 outward dimensions at positive extreme, 4 outward dimensions at negative extreme Thus, 12. when someone’s 4 inward dimensions at middle path harmonizes or inline with 4 outward dimensions at middle path (total 8 dimensions) then the link, way or path which connects “cyclic time” (finite) to “straight line time” (infinite) OPENS. This link, way or path WILL NEVER open when someone is at extremes of inward dimensions (8) and extremes of outward dimensions (8) total 16 dimensions 13. when this happens means link, way or path opens, someone experience “oneness of existence” and then at that moment someone’s “journey in cyclic time” ENDS...all questions answered, all fears goes away, all attractions and repulsions comes into ease. Someone feels at height of happiness (peak of being aesthetics), burst into tears 😭, each cells of body becomes like flower 🌹, emotions become so sweet, mind only sees realities, soul dances in spins...at that particular moment more than 99% people (now enlightened being) “leave cyclic time forever” but less than 1% people (now selected enlightened being) decided to stay back just to let the LIFE/PEOPLES know about that “middle path” is THE ONLY WAY to know and experience TRUTH in existence. Uqpaa Handy Learning new things, if you don’t stimulate your brain enough the pathways die off.
@dudu-fo7hz
@dudu-fo7hz 5 жыл бұрын
This movie is absolute nonesense. We already use near 100% of the brain, but not all in he same time. In the very least, if we could do that we would gain more intelect, preception and understanding of the world, and a little of control of over some basis of the brain (like pain supression, retrocognition and a simulation of Savant Sindrome, perhaps). And, but this is pushing the rope a little, and if it did happen it would increase the chance of the problems I'm going to talk next, the hability to directly use deeper levels of your brain like control the heart beat and some organs, your metabolism, regeneration of cells (inside what is humanly possible. This could include rejuvenation), etc. (although, with the side effects that I talk next this wouldn't be that possible or would be useless). This sounds amazing, but there would be high side effects: in the best option we would be in coma for just less then a minute of use (probably less depending on what you do) or age much faster and have permanent damage in your body (because if the brain is one the things that uses more energy in your body, with just around 10%, imagine using 100%. Your cells would have to simpply kill themselfs working extra hard to get you that amount of energy, in the process suspending or slowing all the work in the rest of the body and transfering it to the brain. That would accelerate the natural "experition point" of the cells and you would get older and, since all natural funtions were suspended to the minimum, many of theme come just never get back to normal), and in the worst scenario we would die, probably painfuly, in the equivalent of our brain exploding from to much work. Finally, ingnoring all the reality of these side effects, I think many people wouldn't even know what to do with this much "power", sinse there is so much possibility, and would just stop their heart accidently, for example. So, to concluse, you would never want to reach 100%. I think around 30% is enough, if you choose well which sections use (the thinks I said earlier that we could do, in theory, can be reach, although in the minimun, with this amount). If you want to look in a "religious way", no being is ready to this much power. also, just a side note: Tekekinisis and most of the powers she has could be possible based on some theories (including that in which she "travels to the past". But it would be just simulations and to us seemed the powers).
